Finally got my hands on it. Damn this scope just made medic's sweetest dream come true ( until EAsy adjusts the ADS on it ). 0,2 sec ADS = outgun anything in CQC.

It's totally worse than close-in barrel : less effective but more expensive. You can rank up your lvl1 soldier a few more levels and completely forget about barracuda barrel.

I tried it today with credits and don't find it hard to see on bright backgrounds. Is that only an issue on medium/low settings?

^ did you test it on high setting and walls at Karkand/Sharqi? The problems seem to exist with high graphic setting only.

Heh. I'm totally being mean to a hackusator in those Mashtuur screens.

Also, is the red dot ADS issue fixed already? I just tried it again on an SMG and it seems quicker.

No client update = no fixing anything. The ADS animation stays the same when you put on the sight, but the reaction time for SMGs ( the delay before you can shoot after pressing RMB ) is 4x slower now, from 0,05 to 0,2 sec.

Yeah, I already knew that. It just 'seemed' to be slightly less of a delay than it did before. It's hard to gauge these things when they're in tenths of a second.

Hopefully the right 'balance' can be found so medic's who bought it before these bugs can get something worth the money rather than just another holosight but different look.

Those screenshots were from high settings.

Karkand is mostly fine. There are those shiny hills near C where the dot disappears, but other than that, it's okay:
