Still no reply whether we will get those bonuses when buying at a different retailer. And I want a hard copy, not a download :/ Is there a chance we can get the beret and 870 for pre-ordering a hard copy for Xbox 360? So many questions! Blue please!

Yes. So both games have to be registered under the same EA master ID / account.

Yuppo, just checked my master EA account and it recognized all my BFP4F characters already.. so it seems all fine.

i preorder earlier before the promo (was hoping to get the physical game but i guess it was too late to change since i already submit the order and don't want to get another copy) glad to hear that people still get the reward, better late than never. so the shotgun and beret applies to all current soldiers and not the newly created soldiers?.

Anyone else find it a bit sad that so many people pre-ordered BF3 just because they had one simple incentive? If they were real BF fans, they would have full trust in the game and order it the moment it was announced

I thought the beret was going to be a "unique" beta award. Now that they are in the store and being handed out for other things , it ruined the moment. The only thing unique about the beta award now is the color green , how ironic.

pre-ordering so early is rather foolish. playing physical copy's price for a downloadable copy is even worse. The price WILL drop when we approach release date...not in EA store perhaps but certainly in amazon. additionally the karkand expansion pack offer will still be there for preorder. and as far as i can see they'll add even more bonus "get this for preordering BF3" later on future.

Yes, but the EA Store pre-order is $80 AUD, approx. $50 USD. Now think about it... To pre-order the game in a store is about $109.60 AUD for the game. (That's the Xbox 360 version, I pre-ordered the PC version, on the EA store, so it's cheaper.) It is very good value, even without the "Bonuses", (Hell I'd even buy Battlefield 3 for Wake Island alone), please people stop saying this is EA trying to "con" people out of their money, the Xbox 360 is $109 AUD and you don't get anything.

I pre-ordered Battlefield 3 from the EA store back in February 2011 but I used a different email account.

EDIT: I cannot change my BF P4F email account to the same email account as used on EA store; I receive error message “The email you entered is already used”.

Question 1: Are both EA store and BF P4F email accounts linked?

Question 2: How can I claim my Battlefield Play4Free shotgun and beret with different email accounts?

Question 3: If players pre-order Battlefield 3 from EA store, will they automatically receive Battlefield 3 Beta test keys?
