BF1942 my all time favorite. Desert Combat mod, which spawned all this awesomeness, embryologically speaking was great.

Nightfall here. Though in most EA games I'm know as xNightfallx

Love Battlefield. It's the best online shooter series I know. I started with BF1942 demo's that me and some folks at my RTS clan used to play for fun.
The first one I really played was Battlefield Vietnam. Which is still the most unique BF game there is. Nothing gets such an atmosphere in an online FPS game. Thank god for that music Maybe we'll see that return in the new Bad company DLC?

I then moved to Battlefield 2. It didn't had the great feeling of BF:V. But the gameplay was loads of fun. Played about a lot with a sniper and little less with assault and anti-tank. I had fun but the longer I played (+/-2 years after release) the more I noticed the game got too hard for me. People where all in organized teams just mopping the floor with me. I'm not a bad player but I'm not a clan person. My game schedule is erratic and so is my playstyle. Well to put it short. I got owned all the time by more skilled players.

I didn't get 2142 (or whatever it was) I used my money on other games at the time. And didn't pick it up later because I feared the same would happen to the later years I played BF2.

I did get Bad Company 2. And I've got mixed feeling about it. On the one hand. It has the fun Battlefield gameplay. But it was also frustrating since it felt a lot more fast paced then I was used to. And the average skill of players seems to be higher then mine again. I am looking forward to the Vietnam DLC though.

I actualy played more Battlefield Heroes then BC2 To me it's the ultimate pick-up and play game. Most of the time it has a comfortable pacing to it. I love it. Not to happy about the aspect of how they handle microtransactions though. But hey . I spent 20€ so far and thats a fine amount for the fun I had/have.
