Why don't we replace nades with rocks? ya.. I'm certain they would do more damge.
Hey ..let's just replace guns with knifes that do 1 point damage and then we can have long knife fights. Very very unrealistic now. The update sucks. The only people happy and gloating now,, are the incesant in game boost whiners "boo hoo you killed me with a boosted nade noob"(ya.....like a live grenade wouldnt do that in a real combat situation??) ![]() TROLL, TROLL, GO BACK IN YOUR HOLE.

It's a modifier. A value of 1 means 100% damage to self; a value like 0.3 means you'll get damage*0.3 damage. Hotspot radius is most likely the radius that deals the full damage of explosive; once you're outside the hotspot radius, damage starts dropping off according to the "radius" parameter. |

For grenades as an example: if radius is 6 and hotspot is 0.4, the area of max damage is 2.4m radius and you'll take 80 hp damage if you end up in the hotspot of your own 'nade?
