MP5 or PP-19

Guys, I'm not sure what kit should I buy the kit with the MP5 or the kit with the PP -19 , What would be the best option ? and why ?

I would choose jjagged's MP5-based kit. It's got a superb pistol with it and great attachments. The MP5 itself out performs the PP19 in most situations. There is a future Engineer "Community Kit" for Karkand coming very soon and I can't remember what it comes with. That kit could be out this week or the next, so I'd look up the winners of the contest and check out that contents to that kit, too.

having used both weapons (PP-19 a while ago, and MP5 just recently) I can say definitely the MP5.
Reload:
iirc, the PP-19 has a long reload time, and for engineers with my playstyle (always in the open blowing stuff up), the reload just seems too long. I'm quite pleased with the MP5, reload time about 2x slower than the MP7, which is almost instant reload. Probably takes 2 seconds.
Accuracy:
I remember the stock PP-19 not being very accurate (I'd have to dump an entire mag into one enemy to kill him.
The MP5 kills quite quickly, I can get kills without even using half a mag.

Note: I don't normally crouch when firing, I'm almost always on the move, this does effect my accuracy quite a bit.

As SHOCKED pointed out, there's a new Engi kit coming out within the next few weeks, keep an eye out for that and see what weapon it comes with. That's the only reason I haven't bought the MP5 dev kit yet.

Balanced stock outclasses the precision stock in every way.

Definitely PP-19 for CQC. MP5 for long range. Long range shooting isn't even meant to be for PDWs (current engineer weapons). Therefore PP-19 is better for the engineer class.

Coroev's Set will be released tomorrow.
Features are the SAME of Jjagged Set, pistol is the same but you're not going to use the "People/Kid's SMG".
But the UMP, that performs really good.
And price will be lower than jjagged Set :\

IMO and according to the P4F Tools stats, the UMP45 is one of the best run-n-gun weapons for the Engineer class. Perhaps the best.

Buy the jagged kit, it has great attachments and the e-mp443 is one of the best pistols.

I just got the harkel kit which comes with an awesome uniform and PP-19 with stabilized stock, red dot, high capacity mags mags (which gives you 8 shots extra per mag, which equals 63 and an extra mag (with 63 bullets!), and predator barrel and I AM Beast! It performs very well at close to medium accuracy and damage is high. long range is ok. Yu can even spit out bullets on full auto and sti.l gives you good accuracy. PP-19 hands down.

Buy the MP5 kit for the attachments and pistol. Buy PP19 when you reach level 24 if you really want it that badly.

Viper Mags
Thunderbolt or Balanced Stock

It is like a laser out to medium range AND has more killing power than the MP-5, AND better for spraying down a flag or alley way.

Downsides- Deviation starts to jump after you hold down the trigger for 20+ rounds


In the end its about what kind of play style you'd enjoy

This is the path I took
