A couple usable AA spots on DragonValley would end a ton of the heli hate. All you have to do is fly high so the minitanks can't aim up at you and avoid the few rpgs that aren't bugged out coming at you. I would like to see limited ammo so they have to reload at base, currently on DV the only time you can shoot at the helis are when they fly low to repair.

Many people say Aircrafts are to strong, I dont think so its just the unlimited ammo that breaks the balancing. So please limit ammo on Heli and Jets to force them return to Mainbase and evrything is fine^^

And maybe,,,reduce speed, sure its a game but 500+ Km/h is way to fast for an AH 64.
Never exceed speed: 197 knots (227 mph, 365 km/h)
Maximum speed: 158 knots (182 mph, 293 km/h)
Cruise speed: 143 knots (165 mph, 265 km/h)

He's talking about reload after firing all rockets.

I know but they shoud then remove relode in air so you can fire all rockets in a row then go to bease reload now i they just limit ammo you can shoot 2 helfires then you maust w8 then shoot again then w8 you can t shoot all in a row helfires have reload time

I personally would like to have the blast radius of the heli-shots reduced. So you will have to actually hit your target more precisely (vehicles will be easier to hit) instead of killing it (infantry) from 10 meters with one shot or so. So infantry has higher chance to survive the power of desctruction of total unskilled mega-explosion-spam.

I've been suggesting this but people didn't like having to return to base to reload.

Attack Heli in BF2 was balanced(except co-pilot)

Jets in BF2 was balanced(Except afterburners)

did you notice the amount of complains this and the past week first the tracer dart then the medic cant pillot a helli/jet and so on people dont have any new stuff to complain about so they complain on the on stuff that has been in-game for long time or form the beggining

Im with the OP. The chopper has ruined maps where it is present. Everyone wants to throw out the "Lots of ways to take em down". And that it BS and worse you know it.

Look its simple, When you see pilots getting these 50-0 and higher scores, then there is something fundamentally wrong with that weapon. Ive been playing since Day 2 in this game, so save the "advice on how to take one down". I can take em down, when everything and I mean EVERYTHING lines up right for me on foot. Otherwise, its Hellfire in the general direction and atomic blast to take me out.

The AA is horrible and takes far to long to lock on. When Im at B on Oman and I have a beeping tone, yet the guy can still get that Hellfire off, you have no chance. If your in an APC and he see's you, your done. Tank, done. On foot hiding behind a big wall? Defintily done, since the Helflfire could care less about large stationary cover. Sure you can get one occasionally, but never always.

I dont really care. Its just another tool, used by those who can't do anything else. Take away their little "1337" toy and they cry "Why oh why cant I get my 50-0 anymore!!? I was a great player, till you nerfed my Atom bomb!! How will I kill 40 guys on foot or spawning, when my Death Star is suddenly just a chopper"? All I really know is, anyone who thinks the Chopper isnt OP, is probably using one or doesn't play Air maps.

The reason for this thread is very simple Wink, havent played for a long time and just saw that Tier 3 Skill because i want to fly some rounds.
While setting the trainingpoints there was the „Skill“ Ground Crew Support for faster repair and resupplie.

So I wonder why we have a skill for faster resupplie if Aircraft have allready unlimited ammo ?
After thinking a while I found no reason for giving Aircrafts unlimited ammo and started this thread^^
Feels wrong to me, and make no sense at all.

If you know a good reason for unlimited ammo please tell me, otherwise your Post is 100% Offtopic.

Main Question is why Aircrafts have unlimited ammo, seems no one knows...

I agree, sure the helicopters should be devastating in the right hands but those scores are so common it's silly.
