Yes.

Just remember that rockets go down after a while, so if a target (tank, car etc) is quite far away from you, aim above it and you might just hit it.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

^this.

It's like acclimatising to the bullet drop of a sniper rifle - after a while you get an idea of how far above the target you need to aim in order to hit it.

When you see an enemy using a TOW launcher, fire a rocket at them. When you see a group of snipers on a rooftop, fire a rocket at them, too.
You'll get the hang of judging the rocket's trajectory before long.

Pretty much. I would not even try to learn the rangefinder, you just get used to it.

so the lines dont actually give you an idea of how far away your target it, i know on the snipers that each line is like 100m diffrence or something like that.

Not really. This is where experience comes in. The more you use the RPG, the more familiar you are with it. Well for snipers... i dont really know, but it's the same as the RPG, if you use it more, you'll get used to it.

*slowly raises hand*

it's called using it so many times you know what distance each mark is according to the size of your enemy and the average rate of drop per second.... yea... it's called a lot of mutha****ing math XD

Also, once you get to know which camping spots snipers use, you can find your own counter-sniper positions in which you can remember the exact mark to use on the rangefinder reticle.

An example of this would be Basra parking top floor (B). from either the wrecked car on the right or behind the truck on the left flank, you'll make headshots every time if you aim at the first line below the middle.

Real PGO-7 scope (one on RPG) works exactly as PSO-1. There is a scale for 2.7m height target (tank height) to measure the distance and scale for drop and windage.

It doesn't work as intended here as in RL. BF isn't ArmA Smile

I love Myanmar and G3.

I used the distance markers on control points to get a feel for in-game distance, then assumed each vertical marker is the height correction you need to make for 100m of distance to the target, just to have a bit of refference, then worked my way through trial and error. Same goes for the sniper rifle

I have actually made a 109 range kill with rpg on sharqi from behind B all the way to the tall building where snipers usually camp behind C. I aimed directly below the bottom of the part on the rpg that looks like this but longer. I I

We talking about taking out infantry, or taking out vehicles?

Use your tracer for the vehicles, then use the RPG.

Infantry, I have no idea. I just use my primary to take them out. Tongue
