Well its a good name, but it is not very nice to the people of Burma. The people in Burma call it Burma, but they are sorta being opressed right now soooo.... yea.

Ok this name is just doesnt fit the map...Becuase it has the word myans and myans dont live in some sort of chinese place...and the myanmar temple doesnt look like a chinese temple.....

I can't wait for the map, but in all honesty, I'm a little disappointed with the name that's been picked. Having said that, half the given names were ridiculously cheesy, and most had at least "jungle", "temple", or "forest" in them. But among all the names submitted, and after those several days of deliberations, if Myanmar is the best name chosen, I think it's a let down.
Of course, congrats to Wref, and like everyone else, I can't wait until the map is released. |
