Great, crap just got true.

Now everyone with VSS will put a stock, RDS and Hi-power ammo and will turn into an assault.

I use Heavy Barrel, Hi-Power Ammo and Stabilized stock. You should see it with the M110. Thus, Recon-Assault is born. Angel

engineer + viper mags = assault mode.
Now : LMG + Reflex sight = assault mode, SR + Reflex sight = assault mode. Poor assaults can be outgunned easily now Tongue

but some of the medic LMGs do have 0.2 ADS, others have 0.4, listening to this lot makes it sound like all of the LMGs have 0.4 and thats simply not true.

I was actually going to buy this perm after I finished reading this thread, but now I read this im gonna keep them as they are.
This, at least it should remain 0.2 ADS for the following M60, PKM, QJY88, that's what holosight failed to do since it slow down the ADS of these weapons.


I dont think it can be, the ADS mod value is in the lmg file for the sight and affects them all - they either have to nerf the fast ones down or buff the slow ones ... and if they nerf the fast ones that takes away what small advantage those 0.2 ADS weapons have

also if it was a bug, i have to ask why isnt the engineer sight isnt also 0.05 for the engineer weapons?

Well, the bug is that they copied AR's reflex sight's info into the other 3 reflex sights, so all 4 have 0,2 sec ADS, not making only medic's reflex sight bugged.

I think he meant that the other guns ADS time will be changed since its meant to be 0.2 for LMG hence the name 'rapid aim red dot'. I doubt they will increase ADS time for LMG's since the point of it is to reduce the ads time.

I'm not so sure that this is true 0,2 for LMGs
I compared it with Holoshight and there is no big difference when the new one should be as twice as fast.

Then I tried it with AR. Both red dots for LMG and AR have the same 0,2 ASD delay.
But the AR one is much faster than the LMG version.

So there must be something else than delays from con files.

This, I bought it for the fast ADS, so don't make it like holosight where you get 0.4 sec on all LMG, that would be stupid. At least the current 0.2 LMG should stay 0.2 with this reddot.

Exactly, you can't call it 'rapid-aim' if it doesn't aim rapidly ^^

So just fix the ads time for smg to 0.05 and bob's your uncle. Don't go tinkering with ads time for lmg's.

What about the LMGs that have 0.4? Holo (0.4 delay) and M145 (0.6) are based on 0.4 LMG ADS delay; I don't think this one should be any different. I agree it sucks that it increases the ADS delay for PKM/MG3 etc too much but if they're gonna change that, they should do it for all attachments not just RDS.

Ideally, the attachments would just modify the existing ADS delay instead of replacing it.. that way, it can remain 0.2 for LMGs that have 0.2 ADS delay and 0.4 for others.

And if this attachment is supposed to decrease the ADS delay then it should do it consistently for all classes. The current way of setting it to 0.2 for all classes clearly isn't right.

Yea they should, but i mean if they reduce the ADS time for LMG's the designer should also do this for AR/SMG's. This way it brings something new (being the quicker ADS). I feel if they change it back to normal now its kind of a funds wasted since most medics probably bought it for the lower ADS time. (normal AR/SMG should still be 4 times faster if you leave it at 0.05 (or change it to 0.04/0.03 for non-LMG))

After reading some other posts, the PKM has 0.2 aldready which could be halfed too. But for SMG/AR the RDS should maybe reduce ADS to a bit quicker so its something which is worthwhile for those who have aldready bought it.

well maybe they can get 0.3? it's already better. For assault could be like 0.15 or something. On recon it should definitely be 0.2.
