What do you mean...? It's in-game, the statistics are very similar, I described the basic concept of how it operates, and it shows with it's statistics, plus, it's the only M27 IAR thread I've seen...

Apart from that, I plan on trying to bring you guys some gameplay...once my Medic is leveled up Tongue

It's true what he said. They were gonna make it with or without your post seeing that it was in the game files. And i guess you got the basic onfo of everything the staffs had before your post. So this was only a little addition.

I made this thread on April 9. It was in the game files on May 15. It was already made before even added to the game files. In addition, the statistics I used updated every time. If this was the case, how did I receive very similar statistics?

I'm not saying that my idea created the weapon. But I do believe that I helped with the development of the weapon.

Well, I didn't use the statistics similar to the M416-Carbine. I made them up through seeing what fit, and what seemed logical. I also calculated several averages with, yes the M416, however, with other weapons as well, to see how their statistics were applied.

And yes, I would have known the M27 IAR before Battlefield 3. My uncle is in the U.S. Marine Corps. He's in the I Marine Expeditionary Force, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Combat Logistics Battalion 13. He commanded and trained 7 squads in working with the M27 IAR, when it came off the IAR-program. Since then, he's already trained 98 soldiers on marksmanship for the M27 IAR. So I know what I am talking about when I say I knew the M27 IAR way before BF3.

In addition, if you suggested those weapons, and they implemented it, then you should be proud because they took your suggestion into consideration. However, you can't cheer yet as their has been many request for those weapons. But if the statistics are similar, then you succeeded and should be proud.

First:
Logical = ~M416 stats because it's not only based on it, it IS a 416 with extended mag (actually).

Second:
I also used "logic" stats, means DE's dmg is very high. These guys would be stupid if it would have something below Ultra High.
RoF and M1911 also seem logical (since MP443 is almost full auto when you're good in tipping, like me with AN94, another story).

It is.
Most stats are better because M27 has more ammo (such as possible kills per mag), reload time is awesome, M416 should be faster to reload.
Accuracy is being affected by the actual barrel lenght of the gun itself (M27 is longer than M416, results in a better Inaccuracy except while firing).

It's an adapted M416, not the M416 just w/ extended mag, ofc. Dodgy

They actually seem the same to me. initial range for both is 0-20, medium range for both is 20-40, and long range for both is 40-~.
416 damages: 23-27, 20-24, 18-22.
M27 damages: 23-25, 20-22, 18-22.
Really similar huh? They also have the same bullet velocity and recoil force up. EA did a good job making the M27 just a variant of the 416.

Oh yes I agree. However, people keep saying that it just contains a larger magazine size, but although similar, still has some unique statistics.

I'll wait for the Famas, Deagle, M417(?) to appear before I'll buy more Funds. I'd have to pimp my Medic first. MG36 is already pwning like awesome, but I want it to be a combine on all distances. So I'll get Tactical Stock and what is this +3range and +3 Accuracy Barrel? Anyway, those. And maybe Rapid Red Dot. Got Extended Mag already.

NO, JUST NO. At first they wanted to make QBB95 as lvl24 LMG instead of M27.

The only weapon you suggested that got added to games files is DE. And trust me, files about DE has been here since Closed Beta phase. It started to show up in game files since the normal M1911 came out, but remained as an unfinished project until now.

The file in weapons_client.zip got replaced with a M9 mesh file at some moment ago, not from the first days, thou. And it's obviously not the file for Only the few. Why? Because actually weapon mesh files have separated parts ( mag, barrel, body,... ) instead of just 1 big part like that.

Well I still feel like the making of M27IAR in-game was somehow inspired by DeadlyChaos's thread. He's updated his suggestion regularly and is very strong with his opinion about this LMG ( you can see a lot of "No,no,no!" replies on first page ).
