I blame steam/ea in thier attempts in getting me to buy BFBC2.

So I looked at steam saw the game was around $10 for the game and dlc. I then thought about buying some more battlefunds for my recon perhaps getting a good $10.00 shotgun. I proceeded to checkout and remembered for $10.00 it was actually $10.00 + tax+ currency exchange rate.

So after looking at that I decided to cancel my order of Battlefunds and proceeded to buy BFBC2 and the DLC.

I do plan on keeping on playing this game just not as much since all 4 of my characters are

eng: lv 20
medic: almost lv 16
Assult : almost lv 13
Recon: lv 12

I will take the positive and neg experiences I obtained in this game from CB and OB over to that other game. I just hope I dont see a lot of the following:

- People sitting around waiting for a plane or chopper to respawn
- Running me over at start so I am unable to get a vechicle
- Blowing up vechicles at start forcing people to sit around and do nothing
- That aa bug thats still around
- That smoke tank bug where even if you deploy your smoke I still get hit by a few rpg's which is a bit strange as i recall when you use smoke it removes the tracer darts.
- Hackers (i honestly belive still that if you can kill someone with an rpg firing at a hele and it kills you throgh the hele and the hele still flys for a few seconds while ur dead something isnt right)
- Hackers (aimbotters, chammers,
- Tones of lag problems like we had last weekend with the leetservers where they were so bad people were flying everywhere
- oh and the spinning map bug
videos here with the spinning map and people sitting around:

Now then while that game is downloading time to play some more BFP4F Smile

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Standard Edition 6.80 USD
Battlefield Bad Company 2 Specact DLC 2.99 USD <---I dont really think its worth it but mugh $3.00 is the cost for a loaf of bread so its ok

BFBC2 isn't completely free of bugs, but it's had a bit more development time than this, so there are a lot less.

The main difference is the game will make everything hard to see due to either sun glare or overuse of dust/smoke, or will shake the screen until you despair at trying to aim at anything.

Other than those gameplay crippling issues, it's a pretty good game.

[n.b. Lots of people disagree with me on this, and say the 'realism' is a positive thing]

Well I played the original bad company a few years back in cb and i enjoyed it then so i hope I will enjoy it now.

Now for this game I play on medium setting for this game so I think ill go that route with the other game . Since I already know with the graphics card I have I dont expect to have crazy graphics.

the Battlefield 2 collection with all your favorite maps, vehicles, weapons, unlocks, and even all the expansion packs which are included in this deal with the game are going for 5.00 on steam even. I am even thinking about getting it to start playing for a while until this game is actually built enough to earn the title of a full game.

yes true on the smoke and tracer darts but if u deploy smoke and get traced again it shows the box as it only removes it;... not after smoke deploy to remove then get traced again.

yea odldy enough the requirements for that game are pretty much the same as this game hmm perhaps I should pick up that game as well since apperently BFBC2 my machine wont be able to handle it

well hate to say it but umm im back lol basically my wounderful machine's graphics card and cpu just can't handle playing BFBC2 (only get 30 fps per sec vs over 100 with this game atm) and I then went and spent another $5.00 and bought BF2 (let me just say tanks are good weapons are somewhat good)

pros
-graphics are better on high then this game I find
-you can pick any server you want to join
cons
-only around 900 servers total with around half of them it seems having some sort of bot players who just sit there
- seems theres a bunch of servers talking about no killing or anything
- admins are crazy to say the least
- bascially take what you know in this game and put it in bf2 you will notice that the maps are much bigger even if im playing the same map on bf2 as in this game its bigger

so overall I pretty much spent $15 on 2 games and the only one ill somewhat play will be bf2

Deploying smoke from a vehicle doesn't make your vehicle disappear, it just makes it harder to see - not impossible to hit.

Also, the helicopter/RPG thing is probably just a small graphics/'net delay.
