Thanks Vercetti.
Most of the work so far has been on a much more reskin'able user interface, a bombproof (reconnecting) socket layer, and a completely new framework which answers many issues I had with Autoadmin, also making it much simpler to expand with new modules. You will have noticed the first module, the auto-messager.
Rather than building these things into the tool, I want people to appreciate that the speed and memory usage depends on what features they use, so people stop blaming the tool for eating up their cpu/mem
As of last night's last update, to even further reduce memory usage and increase responsiveness, you can switch off the sexy animated scoreboard (scores still update, just don't animate).
Next priority are the limiter modules, which I'm assuming will have the same "banner notice" and "minimum=2" rules as BFH.

Pedro
UPDATE
Both tools have received patches today.
For my part, the most important fix to P4FCC is that it wasn't saving server settings (server name, banner, welcome message, etc). This is now fixed, along with many other "day one" issues.
My apologies if that caused any confusion, and thanks to all those that are taking the time to contact me with bugs and suggestions.
Admins, I have been informed that server names must not excede 32 characters, otherwise your server may not show up on player favourites lists.
This has been patched into P4FCC. If your server name already excedes this length, you'll get a warning.
Regards,
Pedro
I dont think your new update likes me

yerp, that fixed it thanks for the quick resolve
Anyone other then me getting the server will crash, It seems it be doing if im using the admin tool. 'EAsy Server Panel BP4F'
Couple more updates from P4FCC tonight, including GUI fixes (ghost players left behind when they changed sides) and a map name fix (Basra).
Many admins are asking for the usual Autoadmin features like player commands, limiters and specialised welcomes. Most of the framework for that is in place, but I just wanted to get this tool bug free, before I start strapping the rest in.
Regards,
Pedro

Could you implement various ban methods? IP, guid, profileid, anything else you can think of?
@exair - I use perm-IP ban atm, but there may be a server-side issue with bans at the moment. I will add the timed ban asap.
@Tnizzle, is this the entire contents of your error log? If you could email or PM me the actual file, it may help put it in context. Theres absolutely nothing personal in that file, just .net stack traces.
The only IPs it tries to resolve are the file for the 'map name lookups' and when it connects to your game server. Both are working for me, but "bfp4fcc.com" is a new domain and may not have propogated out to all the name servers around the world. In which case, we'll just have to wait.

Pedro

Seems like you missed my PM - what about integrating a GGC feature somewhere near to the one in the BFH autoadmin?
My AntiVirus warns me because of the download. I'm not so sure anymore..
Sorry Freakzter, I saw it, just replied.
@Roav. What exactly is the warning? This is probably because it isn't "signed" by some mega-expensive certificate authority, so it is an unknown publisher, and your anti-virus likes to show that it's doing stuff, so it picks on programs like that
You'll notice well known community figures, SRPs and EA reps above, vouching for P4FCC.
You'll also read above that it was commissioned and supported by i3D!
I also have a long history of development on BFH.
I notice you're not a BFH player, so you won't know me as well as many other admins do.
All I can ask is that you go to BFH and search for "Autoadmin" or "Pedro".
It's also worth noting that P4FCC is a Microsoft ClickOnce web based deployment, which means it only needs user level access, not elevated (administrator) privilages. The only folder it has access to is the new one it creates in your MyDocuments.
Regards,
Pedro
BTW, if you use IE9 and want to avoid double posts, use the "NEW REPLY" button below instead of the "quick reply" box. This forum catches them better than BFH does, but some still slip through. This post is an example that, even knowing this, it's easy to forget :/

Pedro
Really? Strange, my message box is empty...

Whoops, sorry Freakzter, someone else picked it up. I used your ticket system as you requested, but it seems Komandar picked it up, and has responded. Sorry for the confusion, I meant I replied to Komandar's reply, within your ticket system.
