In case you are using Win 7 or Win Vista:
Try starting your browser with admin rights. Right-click on the browser icon. Choose "Run as Administrator". . ![]() |

having the same problem as above...
I am new to pc gaming and this is literally the first game install before I get full BF series. I finished the DL and it prompted me to open when finished. I clicked 'yes' and nothing popped up. Any help is appreciated. |

When i try to download the game at the end it says: Failed to move the file:
C:/Program Files/EA Games/BattlefieldPlay4Free/tempPatch/patched/mods/main/Objects/Items_client.zip To: C:/Program Files/EA games/BattlefieldPlay4Free/mods/main/Objects/Items_client.zip If you have any of these files open, please close them an retry. But i DON'T have any of those files open i even restarted my laptop so nothing was open except the download thing. I use Windows Vista. Help would be appreciated. |

(06-08-2012 02:12 PM)CapitanBadass Wrote: When i try to download the game at the end it says: Failed to move the file: Might be because: 1. You don't have enough space on that particular drive. 2. NTFS folder/file permission is screwing with you. 3. Sometimes my windows asks me an extra time for permission to delete/rename/over write something in the program files directory (started with Win Vista, Win 7 also has the same extra protection I think). Try installing the game to another drive (e.g. D:\Games) with enough space, with standard NTFS permissions and without extra Windows restrictions. . ![]() |
