After around 10 to 20 minutes of play, Bp4f freezes completely and I have to close it with the task manager (which I can't even see cos it's under the game, I'm just used to press B and then alt-e)

I'm just reporting this yet again cos there are many complaints about it floating around and I think it's something that should be looked at.
Started after the last couple of updates.

Windows XP SP3
Computer specs well above the recommended and no problems with FPS or anything like that. Just freezing.
Updated drivers, don't even.

I run a little freeware called "restart on crash" in the background as it happens to me a couple of times a day, sometimes more.

I ask, which drivers or sound card you have?
It happens to me the same
I came to CONCLUSION this game freezes with the realtek drivers... Confused
Currently i use an external sound card from CREATIVE, and ended up with this boredom...

That is, this game creates conflict with the realtek drivers...
Try to make it (experience)Idea
Disable the sound card and you'll see that again no freeze the game. Smile
...you'll have to play without sound but it is To review these drivers are giving conflicting with the game...

Strage, I use realtek, but never had the game crashing on me. At least, not usually.
However, I was never able to turn up the sound quality to high. I wonder if it is because of that as well.

It probably will, but i never tried...
Example
I with the HD output of my ATI 5770 graphics card does not have this problem... "crashes"
Already with the output realtek i have this problem...
I have an external sound card creative "old" (usb sound blaster 24 bit), I'm using it to avoid failures.
This is my solution, since it does not have monitor with HDMI input...
