Good free screen recorder? (no bandicam!!!!)

Guys i am wanting to record some gameplays on battlefield play4free. I have tried bandicam and when i go to view the videos. It shows up black. So no bandicam

Both are solid choices, however fraps is not free, well you can use it as trial, but as far I know the recording will stop after 30sec in the trial version and will have a watermark.
MSI Afterburner however is completly free.
Also to note, the main difference between both programs are that MSI afterburner needs a strong CPU + good HDD speed because it renders in realtime while Fraps needs an good GPU and medicore HDD speed because it just records what you do.

Another choice would be gamecam, havent used it in years, but if you leak the CPU power for afterburner you might give it a shot.
