Alright so I'm now a level 6, about to be a level 7 medic and I'm pretty good at the game now. So I thought I might as well just throw some good ideas I learned in my first weeks as a medic.
1) Tracer tag as much as you can. This not only helps the people with RPGs and stuff, but gets you 10 XP. It adds up, I promise. 2) Give medkits to everyone on yur team. It gives you 10 XP repeatedly and heals them. 3)ADS. ADS. ADS. Aim Down Sights. The LMG you have has absolutely terrible accuracy when you're not in ADS mode. Even in close quarters. 4) Throw a medkit on the ground in a secluded spot to heal you, then stand on it and reload. Multitasking! It saves time. That LMG takes forever to reload. 5) When you rank up enough to buy the PKM, if you have enough credits, BUY IT. I'm doing so much better with the PKM than with the MG3. It's like 17,000 of the non premium credits by the way. 6) This one is very important!!!!!! It will help a ton!!!!!! Kneel. It seems so simple, right? The accuracy is increased by a huge amount when you kneel and fire. To kneel, default key is the left Ctrl key. Always kneel when trying long range shots, and only fire 1-3 rounds at a time. Eventually you'll get the hang of kneeling and firing at the same time. I keep my pinkie atop the key at all times. Believe me, it helps. So, that's all I have for now. If any medics have any other tips, comment. And please, don't leave hateful comments. I'm trying to benefit the new players. If you don't like it, I don't really care. Unless you're a mod/admin. Then I care.

These are actually some pretty decent tips. It seems you've already learned how to play the medic class properly

Thanks! I just really like using an MG and I hate being low on health so I'm the medic.

Nice tips. But kneel.... lol. I imagined this while reading that : A guy kneeling before a king, then taking out a PKM and shooting him.

New tip: Ditch the PKM as soon as you can.
Get a MG36 or XM8AR. Don't get me wrong, I love the PKM, it's my trolling weapon. But the MG36 and XM8AR are much better. ![]() |

Yea, but also a ton more expensive. But I'm telling the people who are new, the PKM compared to the MG3 is like comparing a Tank Destroyer to a puny light tank. The TD has way better damage, so does the PKM.

A VERY IMPORTANT TIP:
DO NOT REVIVE A TEAMMATE RIGHT WHEN HE GETS KILLED! LOOK FOR THE GUY THAT KILLED HIM AND KILL HIM BACK, BECAUSE IF YOU TRY TO GO FOR THE REZ FIRST IT IS VERY PROBABLE THAT THE SAME GUY WILL KILL YOU ALSO. DON'T JUST GO FOR THE POINTS, THINK TACTICAL MORE. IT GETS ANNOYING WHEN A MEDIC KEEPS REVIVING YOU IN AN OPEN SPOT WHERE THEY KILL YOU THE MOMENT YOU GET UP. Other than that... you are golden!

Ok so this may sound stupid, but I've never revived anyone lol. I always go by myself because I don't like relying on other people to help. And I also have no idea how to do it because of that reason. But you should've seen me today!! I joined a game (Dragonvalley, my fav) and it was like 600-200 our team. I rushed base A BY MYSELF (under enemy control. The only one so everyone respawned there) and just unleashed my PKM on everyone. Killed 7 people and captured base A, while everyone was still spawning. I went 7-0 that round. Victoy dance!!!!

I've played a few rounds with MacBeth. We snuck behind enemy lines to capture all the bases. We killed everyone, and never died. We both revived each other. That's teamwork. So my new tip: Teamwork and friendship always wins.

These tips actually work for the other classes as well.
To add something: Spot enemies/ enemy vehicles (emotes -> spotted), a lot of people get killed because they didn't see an enemy, while you saw him. This way they will know about him and probably kill him (the assist gives you 10 xp as well). To be honest: i don't really like the medic: it takes a little longer to aim down sights, and after sprinting even longer! Also, the mg3 is weak compared to an SMG or assault rifle. |

Don't tell people to buy specific guns. Each person has a different play style. I, for example, like a gun with medium - high damage and at least medium accuracy. Another person might like a gun with high - very high damage and low accuracy because they like to tap fire. I personally like the M60.
Also, if you manage to sneak your way behind enemy lines, find a good spot and drop a flare. Make sure it's some where hidden so the enemy team doesn't see it. ![]() |

And I also have no idea how to do it because of that reason. Maybe you SHOULD LEARN and at least give it a try. Trust me. It's a nice +50 points on top of it as well as an occasional "thanks" from the guy you revived. Tips: Make sure the area is clear before reviving teammates! Revives promote teamwork. It's not about "oh i'm going to revive this guy because i need help" no your TEAM needs help. Two people will cap a flag faster than one. Unless you don't have points on defib and strictly combat expertise. (This post was last modified: 17-07-2012 01:15 AM by OperatorFox.) |

How do you revive people? And sorry Venom. I'm just saying buy the PKM because the MG3 is not accurate and has very low damage. The only differences between the PKM and MG3 in stats is high damage on the PKM, while low on MG3.

When it's likely that enemies will win a location, don't drop medipacks there - it will just heal the enemies after they kill all your team in that area.
(This post was last modified: 17-07-2012 03:56 AM by WoodOwL.)
Sometimes it's better to let a dead teammate choose his own respawn, instead of reviving him. You can use defibrillator to kill enemies, but knife is better since it's quiet. Dropping medipacks promotes camping, so keep that in mind: some players will just use your medipacks as an extension of their hit points, and will not advance - you don't want that. |
