Hello soldiers !

For anyone wonder why I created this topic , it's because the gadgets for our recons is changed pretty much !

The damage of Mortar Strike and Clay-more is changed significantly , now MS deal about 80 damage and have 4 shells while Clay-more deal about 100 damage if it is triggered in the right spot now !

I have no problem with this change , now recons got their power back pretty well .

so I suggest you have some consider to these skills :

At least 4 points on Clay-more , and 1 point on Mortar .

With 4 points on Clay-more , you will likely kill any enemy walk through 2 clay-more placed near each other , in stead of 3 in the past , so 4 clay mores mean you can kill at least 2 enemies if you placed the clay mores in the hot zone. Recommended place them NOT IN THE SAME POSITION , because a lot of ppl will put a point on 'avoid clay more trigger' now , so place them cleverly.

With MS got a few of their power back , I suggest you have at least 1 points when you in tight situation , like tanks and apcs or the moments you got surrounded , they can do some work .

Any one have other static for recons , please share with every one !

BTW, we did some tests on the PTE on the avoid claymore skills and the Avoid claymore on jog works fine and delays the triggering consistently, but the sprint one doesn't really work and still did damage if you ran over one. Can't say much about exact damage as I had body armor but it was 80+ consistently when sprinting.

It's worth mentioning that Mortar Strike has full self-damage now.

This is a nice change, but remember that these weapons' purpose is only relevant for a very passive playstyle. Plenty of recons do just that, I'm just not one of them.

Thankfully boosters now only increase amount and don't insta-kill as soon as you pass a claymore or destroy the enemy team with the mortar booster.

1 mortar is not worth it..

getting 5 will grant you 8 shells +3(from booster).

Raining claymore every 2 minutes.

In my recon I have

motion sensor 4 points
claymore 4 points
mortar strike 5 points (140 seconds, 2minutes and 20s)

1point on sprinting faster

QFT, totally. Sat surveilance is the most OP thing in this game and yet people ignore it.
Sat scan is my priority on all classes, screw those toys like airburst, mortar, whatever...

On recon, sat scan plus 4/4 motion sensor = my own little wallhack.

But claymores got some love after the update, I really missed getting those odd kills from claymores. Smile
