Hearing people wine about cheating is about every other comment in game,
so what I am wondering is if there is a way to stop that perhaps by *****
censoring out the word *cheat* (or) *cheating*

cuz it's really starting to get on my last nerve.

Seriously.

For those of us who don't believe in cheating, or hacks, or even understand
how that sorta thing is done, being blamed for it or called names due to that
gets pretty annoying.

Q: PB kicking us when we're totally innocent is more of a problem now than it usually is, or at normal levels? I like PB, but it's always annoying when it kicks you for spurious reasons.

Right now, The game is unplayable with so many hackers.. Every game i played, i found an invisible dude knifing us.. and a guy VERY high in the sky headshotting everyone with a SV98.. i even found a website for hackers.. i googled it. im sad now that this game is gonna get ruined with hackers..

ive been kicked 4 times in the past 2 weeks for "unreconized graphics card" i had that problem on BF2 as well....it SHOULD be able to detect on board ones.. BUT i guess its not.. i can play most nights.. but its just certain times of the day i get kicked... its roughly about 8-8:30PM on Saturdays and Sundays usually.

Gene i agree with u... theres ALOT of hackers... its pretty pathetic when u have to hack in a game and NOT enjoy what ur playing and be lucky u got into CB when you did.. and they gotta ruin other players game experience that ACTUALLY want to play the game and try and make it better... im lucky to be in a clan that im in.. when were running our servers... admins on 24/7 since we have EU and US players. and we have a top notch security dept, that keeps up to date on new/upcoming hacks. and they test them on the servers so its easier to spot them, and know how they work and such.

note: i read about some hacks online the ONLY opnes for P4F out there... u have to pay to get them.

now we only have the ones left who call those who buy the new weapons for hackers and cheaters becoz they are jealous or dont have the means to buy the same weapons them self.

What everyone needs to do is quit being so damned paranoid and stop believing everyone else is cheating. Maybe we need evenbalance to develop "WhineBuster" as well.

If you really believe someone is cheating.. send evenbalance an email and don't whine about it in-game, no one really wants to hear it and is more disruptive and annoying than the actual cheaters.

I personally have not seen anyone or anything that can be really attributed to "hacking", talk about misnaming, but I have seen many things that can be attributed to other influences. And hell, I like hackers personally, they add an extra layer of challenge.

Oh and I've been kicked by PunkBuster a few times also lol, it happens more often in the windows version than the linux version of PB for me tho.

Have faith it will all be fixed... and please no more calling me a hacker.. seriously.. If I own you just respawn and accept the fact I'm better. "omg HACKS" don't make you better.

Just cause I usually come in in the top 3 spots, I get accused of hacking almost every game.
The reason I have good KDR is because I'm smart and just don't run down the middle of the street like a noob.

I play smart and have good situational awareness. I know where I am on the map and know where the enemy should be coming from. I set myself up in a good position with great cover, I wait for a good shot, I dont spray and pray. I move when needed, I look around to see if there are team mates who can give me cover or I can cover them. I actually try and cap flags, go figure! and defend them to boot. WOW who would of thunk it! Tired of lamers and noobs crying about being pwnd cause the ran down main street to cap B only to find themselves cut down.

And yes I too can be killed by the deadmans trigger or the claymore, I get knifed from behind, and sometimes loose the one on one fire fight. Its just I try to avoid those situations by using me head which keeps my KDR in the top spots. Do the same and you'll see your score increase.

I have not seen anyone in game that made me believe that there are any hackers out there. I've seen videos here an there but nothing in game so I dont worry about it.

I worry more about the nubs running around tking and blowing up their teams vehicle ruining the game for their team and making for an unbalanced game for all.

Ok thise who are getting kicked use this its from punkbusters website it allows you to update punkbuster and stop pb kick error....

The next time you start your game, your PunkBuster will have the latest security information necessary to accept auto-updates from PB Servers.

ok, i'm not sure it's the right topic but i'll give it a go: I'm level 14 (+half) here and quite experienced in BF2. Also played other online FPS quite a lot. I totally respect good players and players beyond me. But i definitely can tell the difference between capable players and cheaters. That's my quick bio.

Well, today in OMAN i've been killed by one specific level10 player THIRTHEEN(13) times and his score was 15/1 when i fed up and quit the game. I'm not arguing about being killed, the mystery is that I was spawned in 3 different positions and every time THE SAME PERSON killed me 4 times with a plane, once with heli, 3 times using a tank and 5 times using other vehicles. He was following me throughout the map, even if i stood still and hidden. At first i thought it was a bug and the client reported the wrong "killer" but after 4-5 kills i realised that he was totally shadowing me. !!

It's not possilble he could be on two places at once: I was dead near [A] and respawned near [D] 3 seconds later, then got grenaded by him, instantly after respawning! He could fly? Is he The Flash? I could say coincidence, but this went on and on for 13 times in a row, without any pause than 5 seconds between them!

If anyone want to know the name of the hacker, please pm me. And hell, no, cheaters/hackers are not an extra level of challenge, they are just noob kids that don't have the guts to play fair. They'll end up last with probably 0/15 kills and cry all night over their teddy bear.

I think EA devs must do something about cheaters, hackers, ...all losers in real life.

Ok, I've seen games ruined by the hackers (yes there are such things as hacks even if you don't understand how they work), and I've seen games ruined by paranoid gamers who couldn't tell a hacker from a good high lvl player. I really hope these don't kill this game.

So far, I have seen 2 people I would call a hacker. One was a pistol kill from way out of range; the other was someone who went 63/3 and only grenades could kill him. If your wondering, yes I know what a med kit is, no it wasn't do to that.

The player Roothacks.net spamed the site "http://www.roothacks.net/index.php?pageid=bfp4fcheat" and was using aimbot getting 83-2 and max points, Hacking is for People who are to bad to play and think hiten a key and killing 500 people is fun

EA Plzz take that site down or ban the player roothacks.net -_-
ps If you do not have a Anti hack/cheet/mod that can kick off of walking throw walls or aimbot like when someone hits 20 people in the head with out dieing or even when the anti hack will not stay up to date this game will not last as bad as* as this game is.

I don't get it when i enter the game i can play for 5 seconds and then i get kicked becase punkbuster what's the probelm? i don't use any cheats or hacks.
