2010/01/13 PunkBuster is on!

Since PB is starting here i cant play longer than 30sec,
everytime i was kicked by PB and in this 30sec i take a look in the stats and what must i see?
Yes a fu**ing hacker with 60/1.

Punkbuster Problems?

Try this:-

Testing Punkbuster Services:-

1. Browse to your Battlefield Play4Free installation – “C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield Play4Free\” or “C:\Program Files\Battlefield Play4Free\” - depends on your installation \ language, paths may vary!

2. Locate “pbsvc_p4f.exe”(PunkBuster Service Setup v0.990) and run it with Administrator privileges. (Please activate your Windows Firewall before you run “pbsvc_p4f.exe”).

3. Click “Test Services”.

4. Click “Next”.

5. Click “OK” (Test completed successfully without error).

6. Click “Cancel” if no error found. (If errors found try the next section, Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service).

7. Try running Battlefield Play4Free again. (If it fails again try the next section, Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service).


Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service:-

1. Browse to your Battlefield Play4Free installation – “C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield Play4Free\” or “C:\Program Files\Battlefield Play4Free\” - depends on your installation \ language, paths may vary!

2. Locate “pbsvc_p4f.exe”(PunkBuster Service Setup v0.990) and run it with Administrator privileges. (Please activate your Windows Firewall before you run “pbsvc_p4f.exe”).

3. Click “Next” (Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service).
(Un-Install/Remove PunkBuster service components will disable PunkBuster and may prevent playing on PunkBuster servers.

4. Click “I Agree” (PunkBuster End User License Agreement).

5. Click “Next”.

6. Click “OK” (Test completed successfully without error).

7. Click “Finish”.

8. Try running Battlefield Play4Free again.

Why is punkbuster kiking me every time, before I get a chance to play? No problem on CDMW or any others using Punkbuster!!!!!!

Are you getting any PB error messages on screen; if so, what is the exact message?

Try testing Punkbuster service as described above; if that fails, Install/Re-Install PunkBuster as described above regardless of any other PB game that you have. That worked for me.

I tried the files from evenbalance and reinstall PB but nothing works.
Now i delete BFp4f and make a new insallation, it seems that i it runs now with PB.
At evening i try a few rounds, hope it runs great again..

What the point in PB if there is plenty of cheaters? Some guys can't run the game because of PB but cheaters feel just fine.

For the Ones who have Problems with PB....dont whine,just make a Screenshot with the Error.message and Post it,maybe then we can help you.

And before start crying,you should search google about your problem,for the most PB errors are fixex out there.

And you should download this: PB.Svc its a tool staright from EB,what fix the most problems.

I found a hack on the web, and i have seen it used ingame.. well pretty sure he was using it though.
It makes you able to see in a greater distance and enemies are shown on the map as red dots.

If you get killed over a large distance, with a 9M... the person is likely using this hack.
Its called embroy or embory... not sure exactly how it works, but according to the website, it is undetected by PB, so be aware!
