And Chang, I knew they were going to 'fix' the ads time (after I bought it), but knowing that doesn't mean this a good fix. Not at all. It should be fast (sorry, rapid), but it isn't, not on about half the lmg's out there. And your answer is 'so don't use it'? That's not why I bought it ^^

My bad, I was mistaken. All the comparisons I have done recently happened to be with 0.4 ADS LMGs.

From my personal experience....

light/medium machine guns typically take a hell of a lot longer to sight in while standing or kneeling over something like an SMG, or AR, shot guns even.

So I think the differences in the time delay is quite fair concerning what kind of weapon you're handling.

**I know this game is not realistic.** Tracking RPG's, 1000lb bombs that do less damage than a hellfire, etc etc etc... but, they do try and generalize weaknesses and strengths with your class and weapon. SMG's are great for close to medium range and are fast to use, while its extremely hard to out shoot most lmg's at medium to long range if its one on one.

I know, but how much sense does it make that you put a rapid-aim rds on your lmg and the ads time increases by 90 percent? That's the case now. wtf?

Hmm...wonder if that is a bug as well. I have to talk to the designer first thing tomorrow to make sure. In reality they all should be the same at 0.4 ADS for Ironsight. Not sure if there was any specific design call on those 4 weapons. But I will let you know as soon as I get the info. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Its not an increase of 90% over what its intended or a sight of similar intentions, it on the other hand has 90% of the time for a holosight to aim down sight although...

Sights should be, like attachments, modifiers to the weapon (LMGs minus, say 0.004 ADS time) and not what they are, replacement numbers.

I play as Medic too and you people should be slapped in the face to come into reality and look things more objectively.

YU no listen to me? I IMed you and posted in thread about exactly this the first time your joined the original discussion when the scope was released.

Its been this way since pre-dec20th, it was part of the original character of the weapon. The faster LMGs have always had the lower ADS time. They all have bad stats in most other areas so one could assume the 0.2 ADS was the one thing to 'sell' the weapon, otherwise who would bother buying them if every stat was worse.

I´m not a Gun Nut but i believe that the XM8AR and MG36 might be lighter=>faster than the other LMGs for their more Assault-like built with a smaller mag and faster reload, so they should ADS faster than a MG3, QJY88, M60 or PKM

As an example, the SAW, M240, and XM8AR have ADS of 0.4. M60 and PKM are 0.2. Your logic makes sense (lighter = faster), but EAsy appears to have used the opposite as "balance", except for the M240 which is a beast and still has a slow ADS. So who knows what the logic is...
