grenades right now are the cheapest weapon in the game, even more than auto shottys because they're free and seem to 1-shot everything.
They should not do 100 damage even with a booster, it results in spawn killing and makes it virtually impossible to effectively hold a point for extended periods of time. If you insist on boosting nades, their damage should not exceed 90 hp, that way there is a chance for players to live; this 1-shotting business wrecks the game. its especially bad with Assault classes because their ammo box gives them an infinite supply so they throw these things to absurd areas all day long and win buy spawn killing. |

This is for the boosted grenades.
I think that the damage should be 100 close to where the grenades actually landed-around a 2.5 meter radius. It is a grenade, so it should be deadly-just like in real life. Then the damage should decrease the further you are away from it. i.e. 2.5-5 meters away 50-75 damage,5-7 meters away 5-50 damage. Instead of a whole 100+++damage in its entire 20 effective blast radius. I do not know the effective blast radius but It is ridiculously wide IMO. And no I do not use grenades. |

I don't use overpowered items either, and yes it should be location based not a universal 100 dmg, in any event this is a real issue since the grenade booster is very accessible and cheap.

Boosted grenades hit 200 on vehicles. Infantry should not be able to take out heavy armor vehicles with grenades...

You have no idea, what you're talking about, do you? It's the grenade booster, that needs to be nerfed, not the grenade itself. That is since with booster the guaranteed kill radius is somewhere around 10 meters, while regular grenade will no longer harm you beyond about 2 meter radius. And in order to be a one hit kill, the unboosted grenade mist be stuffed right into your nose, otherwise with full health you are surely going to survive. And if you ever tried to use them, you'd find out that throwing them accurately enough to get a kill without a booster takes some skill. And ammo boxes do not replenish them.
Without booster, grenades are grossly underpowered. With booster they become throwable nukes. It's the whole booster thing (which applies to other explosives as well) that ruins the fun. ![]() |

Nades are meant to to take out more than 1 target in a large radius. Without boosters you might as well through pillows at people and drink tea in a corner smashing your head into a wall.
Grenades shouldn't be nerfed to 90hp. That is a stupid idea because then there would be no point to nades. In all of battlefield history grenades have always been a 1 hit kill in just about the same radius as boosted nades. PS. Boosted nades are only OP when people start spamming them. Same thing with Air-burst. It is only OP because people run around with it as a primary and ignore it's proper use. -From {OSS}Obey ^Over 1,200 kills with Sv98^ |
