When you are in the back seat of a jeep or a van you can use the face camera (F key by default) to see where the vehicle is heading to and can exit it when you see an enemy APC or TANK in front of your vehicle to escape the catastrophe.

My tip : How to know if someone (when death) has the DMT (Death man triger) or not
You can see this on minimap if hi is blinking-he have DMT - if not -no DMT.
