What about the LMGs that have 0.4? Holo (0.4 delay) and M145 (0.6) are based on 0.4 LMG ADS delay; I don't think this one should be any different. I agree it sucks that it increases the ADS delay for PKM/MG3 etc too much but if they're gonna change that, they should do it for all attachments not just RDS.

Ideally, the attachments would just modify the existing ADS delay instead of replacing it.. that way, it can remain 0.2 for LMGs that have 0.2 ADS delay and 0.4 for others.

And if this attachment is supposed to decrease the ADS delay then it should do it consistently for all classes. The current way of setting it to 0.2 for all classes clearly isn't right.
well maybe they can get 0.3? it's already better. For assault could be like 0.15 or something. On recon it should definitely be 0.2.
Like i said, people bought it for the halved ADS taking it away after the 'bug' isn't right. They should just half the AR/SMG time otherwise its a misleading purchase.

No, it should have Holo's stats but with a different reticle. It's cheaper after all; doesn't make sense to have everything better than holo in my opinion.

As Healin mentioned, they basically just copied the same AR stats to all classes. If you compare Reflex AR vs Holo AR, there's absolutely no difference in stats except the reticle. And the same AR stats then get applied to other classes.

Well 3k funds is not much and it offers great benefits for medic's and recons. With slight changes assults and Engineer will benefit from it a lot. Increasing the price would maybe be a thought but changing ADS times after selling it as a faster scope would not be fair on those many who have aldready bought it.

Quite right just bought dual weapon and tried it with both and it seems its pretty much the same. They need to make improvements on the animation to speed it up so that it acutally looks like it ADS faster.

So it lets you start shooting a bit faster, while animation remains untouched. Sounds fair although I'd like the animation to be a little faster. Then again LMG's are supposed to be slow, so I guess it's OK.

I've compared M249's regular iron sight that has 0.4 ADS delay, and the red dot that has 0.2 delay ADS, and it seems like the red dot delay is exactly same as iron sight even though iron sight is 0.2 slower?
Animation is the same but the numbers seem messed up. I think that red dot sight's has the same delay as the iron sight but the numbers are different (???).

Solid's explanation sounds pretty .. solid :D

It looks like the animation is 0.4s long but the actual ADS delay might be 0.2 (which means you can start shooting with ADS values after 0.2s).
