they want the SV-98 to be starter because you can only hit something if you know two things,
1.) over range the bullet drops the lines underneath on the sharpshooter (default) scope have those and guide the gun so if you understand it gives you accuracy over range.
2.) the only way to hit headshots with SV and regular sharpshooter sights since it's a delta sight is to get used to delta sights play on BF3, and other fps with guns that have delta sights more often to get used to it. then you can snipe heads from miles away with SV and other bolt action guns
