i happen to like the engineer class, i like the selection of weapons this particular class has. Smg's are my thing. How does the pp-19 stack up against the other smg's? Is it worth the insane pre-level cost? is it worth even the 2999 funds they are asking for being the right level? Watch to find out.

Nice video. Sends the message that the thing may as well be a P90 that hasn't been gimped with the ridiculous horizontal recoil. Still, obvious enough that you're meant to be very aggressive with it in very close quarters. That's what bugs me- everyone who's made a video or commentary about it seems to avoid customizing it in the most obvious way. I would have guessed that with a dedicated close combat set of mods it would be a wrecking ball. CQC rounds + close in barrel + balanced stock = hipfire out of our wettest of wet dreams.

+1 confirmed. You'd be surprised at how quickly those 110 bullets disappear, though. It's still good set up like this, but you can't really go skitz with only 2 mags.

thats why i had to up the mag count... i can get more kills out of an upped mag count provided i don't die, than i could with cqc ammo... this wouldn't be the case if more assaults did their jobs and left ammo lying about.

I use the PP19 with CQC Ammo, Predator/Standoff barrel and stabilizing stock.
It's beast up to about 20m and very very good u to 50m, but after that, I just don't bother wasting ammo trying to kill someone.
4 shot kill in close range, 4-5 shot midrange. For anything that's over 50m away, switch to the XM25 or whatever.
110 bullets are gone pretty fast, but I don't bother cause just run up to some assault or suicide and you've got 2 new clips. The damage boost CQC Ammo gives is just too good.

Of course my MP5 +3 is the better weapon. No recoil, no deviation, tons of damage, no need to zoom in in close range. It's overpowered and everyone who doesn't say so has to use it to it's full potential.
I like the PP19, not because it's good, but because it's FUN. Clearing 8 enemies at a flag in one clip? No problem. And that's f******** awesome.

I find this gun pretty much inaccurate at any range after u full auto after 5 or so shots as the spread goes crazy! I feel the same way over the pp2000, as it does the same and I lost some close range fights due to it, it's frustrating sometimes.

I also feel that a dmg mag is useless, as ur relying on its rof not its dmg overall.

I also think that ppl going for close-in barrel might consider it better, as the damage drop from mid to long is really high! And with close-in the mid range zone is too small. So go for stand-off as it's the most rewarding.

Agreed. For me, 'fun' wins over 'OP' every time, providing the fun gun doesn't suck too hard.
I spent about two weeks using the MP5 when it was first released, and I was bored to tears by it. Yawn yawn yawn. I can understand why players rave about its stats, but I find it too tedious to use.
