Why Are Weapons Class Locked? :/

Hi , If theirs a Gm reading this could you PLEASE consider not having Weapons class locked? What i mean is i feel like some engineer weapons can also be used in the assault class as well lol. Like im being honest in my opinion i think the Engineer class have some pretty bad ass weapons o-o. LOL im a dedicated assault class player , but like COME ON now! The Engineer class get a new PP19 and i want it D:! If They get that then i want ACR, L86A2, SG-550 (My Favorite Gun), or SR-25 (Not a Assault Rifle but i think it looks so sexy)

Dont mind the all the other stuff i said lol my main point is just now to have Engineer and Assult guns class locked but think about it?

i think it would be a mess if they did that but i can see why you made such a post

the assault class...is kinda boring the assault rifles dot perform very well the smg are better my fav assault rifle so far is not an assault rifle lol its svu-a but its not very accurate and goes sideways but hey at least it has that assault rifle feel to it

and why it would not be ok to unlock everything...well you wanna see sniper medics? :O

Personally, I think it would have made more sense to have had the shotguns class locked to Engineers, and the SMGs available to all classes as an alternative option to their class primary weapon set.

Nah lol im not talking about all the weapons but just weapons between the Assault and engineer class. Obviously i wouldn't want medics running around with snipers lol

No ty, don't want to see engis with dual weapon booster and then have a SMG and a sniper rifle... Then he can pwn at close range, medium range, long range and even can destroy vehicles.

yes, assault rifles need a slight buff in default damage (like +3+3+3 or +2+3+3)

No, I think he means that PDW's can be used in any class on BF3. PDW's like MP7 and UMP, that are wrongly classified as SMG's in here and are locked on the Engineer class.

There are no all-class main weapons, this game is different. Only shotguns and pistols are all-class

PDWs are almost the same as SMGs. (UMP is not PDW)
SMGs use pistol bullets. PDWs miniaturized rifle rounds.
Purpose of this weapons are the same, PDWs have slightly more power.
