Hi guys,
I've been playing BFPF4 a while now..never had much technical problems before..
About a week ago I started having these problems with punkbuster; I join a game, play for a while and all of the sudden "There is a problem with you connection" shows up in the middle of my screen, and in the left bottom corner it says "IMPORTANT: Punkbuster communication failure", something like that I can't really remember exactly. I've been reading this forum a lot and tried just about everything you guys give as a possible solution for this problem but it hasn't solved mine. The strange thing is that during the day I can usually play the game without being kicked and without this problem occurring AT ALL, while after midnight it makes it impossible for me to play. So it doesn't occur consequently, sometimes it just works fine, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I really like the game and it bugs me out that I just can't solve the problem. Like I said I've tried all the given options to solve it, but it keeps happening almost every night after 12! Is there anything else I can try to get this fixed?!

[EDIT: I just opened my pbcl.log and it looks really strange tbh :/]
[EDIT2: my bad, just found out it shows the path to the actual log so i'll upload the right one now]

Could it be that your provider automatically resets your internet connection every 24 hours (normal procedure in Germany)? If so, you should check whether your router has an option to define a point in time when it reconnects (thus shifting the forced disconnect to another time, where you're not playing).

Thank you so much!! I don't live in Germany, I'm from Bosnia but it turns out, they do reset the connection :/ I've made the change in my router config, so I'll try it out tonight. Thanks again for the great advice and quick response!! Much appreciated

My log doesnt show anything spectacular, yet i still got the "leaving game" screen seconds after joining server. There was heartbeat error once, but I supposed I got rid of it with guides. However, i still get "kicked", and I dont even know if this problem is PB-related.

EDIT #1: forgot to mention that I had a chance to play flawlessly few times. It was very rare, but there were no problems for like 2-3 matches, and then has "leaving game" screen again.

Getting the PnkBstrB.exe failed to initialize thing and I get kicked. I went through the process on the 3rd post: Find that file, uninstall punkbuster, reboot, install punkbuster. Was fine for about 20mins then was kicked again for the same reason. Log attached.
