Of course not. The point is to maximize options. I'd also like to see peoples favorites, to see which ones are most popular, since I don't think there's much of anything left to add lol.

I also made sure to avoid auto/semi-auto anti material rifles, or anything with a round bigger than .50 cal. I also made sure the weapons weren't WW2 era or anything like that. Also, look ONE MORE TIME, as the AA-12 IS there

I'd like an XM8 recon variant with a light battle rifle feel. But, I'm almost certain it won't happen unless that specific suggestion keeps gaining ground.
Edit: Just counted 187 weapons. Pretty decent I'd say. (This post was last modified: 09-04-2012 06:50 AM by Nirvash.) |

Yes, a very worthwhile and comprehensive listing I would say. Kudos, for sure. On the XM8... I could care less. The XM8 version that suits us recons best is the one that the medics are using. The closest thing I've seen (but not a true variant) is that XM2010. ![]() |

Hm, I thought the XM2010 was another semi-auto .50 thing, but I was wrong. It's perfect for this list, and for this game.
Also, to people who will continue on reading this, what's everyone elses opinion on supply drop specific, special weapons? For example, the XM2010 is derived from the M24. So what if the XM2010 was only found in a supply drop, with stats identical to the base M24, but with 1 single stat being higher? For example, the rifle looking like it is, the XM2010 would be an M24 with (slightly) higher damage or velocity. I ask this, because I know the answer to most is obvious. "NO! Put it in the store!". But, as shown from other free to play FPSes, supply drop, or rather, "crate" systems, allow for the developers to create crazy and over the top weapons by means of crates. For example, a weapon the developers KNOW would not sell well in the store. But if they made it FOR the supply drop, along side weapons with ALOT of popular appeal, they could add tons and tons of weapons that they normally would not be able to do. |

However, I would want the guarantee that if I bought the crate/drop that I would get whatever it is that's in there at that time on a permanent and exclusive basis due to purchasing through the drop. Now, that same weapon could be released through the general inventory store at a later date, but it would have to be a much later date to make the expense of the drop worthwhile. Either that, or you'd be given the exclusive opportunity to unlock it in the store but only by buying the drop first. It all depends on the merchandise and how they do it. ![]() |

If they were to introduce a completely new weapon with entirely different stats I think more people would oppose it. |

![]() There is a version for every class: Assault, Medic, Engineer, and Recon. The Galil is a family of Israeli small arms designed by Yisrael Galil and Yaacov Lior in the late 1960s and produced by Israel Military Industries Ltd (now Israel Weapon Industries Ltd) of Ramat HaSharon. The weapon system consists of a line chambered for the intermediate 5.56x45mm NATO caliber with either the M193 or SS109 ball cartridge and several models designed for use with the 7.62x51mm NATO rifle round. It is named after one of its inventors, Yisrael Galil. There are four basic configurations of the Galil: the standard rifle-length AR (Assault Rifle), a carbine variant known as the SAR (Short Assault Rifle), a compact MAR (Micro Assault Rifle) version, and an ARM (Assault Rifle and Machine gun) light machine gun.
