First of all, don't forget to read the signature section of the forum rules: http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/foru....php?aid=1

Now, lets start with the signature
I have seen a few people asking for signatures already, so I'm going to help those people. Most people make their signatures themselves, but not everybody knows how to do it, so I'm going to make it a bit easier for the people who don't really know how to make signatures. For the people who want to create their own signatures, but don't know how to start with it, I'll give you some help to create a signature that looks like mine. All you will have to do is put the images here together to make your own signature.

We'll start with the background of the signature ofcourse. I uploaded the background of my signature here:
[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=f8c2fac45dc18d...mp;amp;c=1]

After that we can ofcourse put the class icon in the top right corner of the signature.
The class icons can be found here:
[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=874c47cc52fe38...mp;amp;c=1]

Now we can add a quote or a weapon image in the lower left corner. I put a weapon image in it myself, but if you want you can also use a quote. If you want to use a quote, and you want to use the same font and colour as I did, the font I used is Eurostile-bold and the colour code I used is #a79e8c
For the weapon images I used, here they are (I know I didn't cut them out that good, but it looks good enough when it's scaled down to fit the signature):
[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=fb0c79f21b7fe3...mp;amp;c=1]

[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=a1b6d8d05b868e...mp;amp;c=1]

[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=894ca6a16403eb...mp;amp;c=1]

SV 98 sniper: http://cdn.battlefield.play4free.com/en/...bc2a79&c=1
I added a glow behind the weapons (I know I didn't do it good at some weapons at my own signature, will probably fix that soon) but that's entirely up to your liking.

After this you can add your Name in the top left corner. I used the font Eurostile-bold and the colour code #a79e8c
If you want you can also put the closed beta image behind your name.

All you basicly have to do to make an easy signature is put the images together in a signature. I hope this has helped you guys a bit to make some easy signatures. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I might cut out some more weapons later, depends on how much spare time I have. The images weren't made by me, I just edited them a bit. The images were made by EASY. All I actually did with the images was put them together to make my own signature, and with this I want to help you guys to do the same.

If you look at where my signature links to, it is uploaded on this forum. You can start a new topic on this forum, upload your signature as an attachment and save the topic as a draft without posting it. Then just click on "edit draft" again and click on preview. Then you just have to copy-paste the link for the attachment to your signature, but the link has to be between [img][/img]

I made my animated signature with a free program called gimp. I just put every picture of the animation in a different layer, and then I saved it as a .gif file, then I clicked "save as animation" and then I clicked "export", then I clicked on "keep playing" and after that I changed the delay between frames to 5000, and I changed the "transition between layers" to "one frame per layer (replace)". After that I clicked on "use this delay for all frames" and "use this transition for all frames"

Btw, If you mean something like this for the second question:
[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=0cc2bebf0c6325...2b&c=1]

Then use this:
Ofcourse you would have to remove the little space I left there at /url and you have to replace the word link with your link and image with the image (which is pretty obvious)

GIMP is all you need. The best free image software out there.

Go to Google Images, find what you want. A PNG or just a JPG:

Copy that and paste into GIMP. Then add some text and effects:

Erase the Play4Free, then add in a bullet hole PNG. Whatever you want that looks good:

Copy and paste as much as you want.

Then add in an assault rifle!

Wink And there's the breakdown of my signature.

Edit: I'm actually going to change my sig soon. Soo.... at least you get an idea of what to do.
