My own server?

Howdy all,

As I am tired of all the crap on the public servers as of late, I am going to start my own server.

A few questions:

Do you have to reside in the city listed to start a server? Can I host a server from my own connection? If so can anyone help me with this.

What control will I have over the server?

What are the best for the money on a mothly basis?

I would like to have clan play as well as public, ENGLISH speaking only, and a mechanical (flight and tanks) training area, is this possible?

- No, of course not.

- No, there is no way you can do that. So also nobody can help you with it.

- No allot, since BFP4F servers aren't that modable ... You can change rotation, maps and can kick/ban from your server. And some other normal stuff:(changing name, putting in a banner)

- Uhm the best servers are in my opinion i3d.net! Whatever you do just don't take multiplay.
They are really bad ... About the other providers I don't know. But I don't think they can overtop i3d.net ...

- Clans come and clans go. So yeh you can make a clan why not.

- Hell no! And probably that will not come in the first 20 years.
