You may not be raging, but the other people might be. Just by participating in any kind of back-and-forth conversation with a rager automatically counts you in with the flame war, as you are both refuting each others' arguments.

I'm not running anywhere. I tried it on my work PC (which probably has it blocked) and I'll try it again when I get home. It was blocked on my phone due to riding on my company's WIFI.

As for "losing", I have lost NOTHING. Get over yourself, dude. I was fine with letting it go, but yet you persist.

The so-called "Para-Sniper" variant that you're clamoring about isn't even remotely close to what's being asked for here. If anything, it is damn near identical to the XM8/AR, which is the DMR/LMG variant that the medics use. Again, nothing lost... and nothing gained.

Point taken and accepted. I think your statement rings through on the above, without a doubt. I'm done with it, quite honestly. It's not as though EAsy is going to listen anyway. Why does any of this matter, really? The XM8 was a developmental weapon that was never fielded by the US Army. That said, it should be in this game or any other; however, I do know that some developers want to put as much as they can into their games and have included it, and this one is no exception. I think that the other XM series rifles are fine, but a 5.56N "sniper" rifle has no purpose in this game as it lacks sufficient punch or range to fill that dedicated role. That's why you don't see them in use beyond the civilian market. You want a sniper round? You use 7.62N, 338 Lapua, or something else better suited for it.
