I've googled it and found out some information, but I can't see it in relation with this game... could someone explain it please? that's mean that the game use too much memory , so slow computers can't handle it sometimes ( lag , FPS drop , overheat ... ) . normally they said they will fix that , but ... |

Memory leak and high memory usage aren't really the same but it looks like this game has both so it doesn't really matter

hmm... I see.. I'm gonna do some testing with my task-manager, but the problem is that I list things, that are more or less realizable. The memory leak is probably the result of the outdated game engine they use and I don't think they would rewrite the whole engine...
Nevertheless thanks for the input. I'm going to consider it. |

Thanks for reviving IEatsBacon. By the way is there a way to list signs? Or do I have to write them down by hand? |

To all. Lol, many of these suggestions are equal to those I came up with. #0 Could you draw in some of my ideas from: http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/foru...?tid=76898 http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/foru...?tid=76724 http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/foru...?tid=76727 Would be ace, as I sense this thread gets far more hits than mine. Also submitting bug/ exploit/ needs heavy repairs:
Suicide+medic revive spam earned my friend 6-7K xp in one match. That's more than we get for playing to win (And doing our best). I recommend a sort of cooldown system on the resurrection. Either from the medic so that he may only use his ability with intervals (Although it takes 3-4 seconds to die from grenades, so the cooldown to nullify this would need to be huge, as of that it would not be a good idea) instead I suggest putting on a "Recently revived" cooldown on the soldier who gets revived. Much like in world of warcraft when you are battle-resurrected. IN that game the cooldown is 10 minutes, but I think merely 30-40 seconds here would be more than sufficient. /salute Your signature has been edited by Community Moderator RIC0H.

This bug also...
Do not see the weapon in the game. Press F and see that I am with open arms. And finally, disappear from the map. |

I don't think this is a bug. In fact I love to get revived, but it rarely ever happens. In my opinion medics which revive deserve to get a lot of points. Bump.
Edited and added few more bugs to my list. I know the only interest in this list devs have is using players to spot easy to fix in map editor little texture glitches and not actually doing any work. But if you liked it, make me a dev-created custom EAsy-failed-again signature to use on forums. That'd be awesome. And meaby i'll start noting bugs for a third expansion of my list. Edit:// A citate - ["just another of the kerzillion bugs that wont be fixed till pigs fly over a blue moon " - st0mpy] somewhere in the sig would look nice. |

The first bug I've listed is not without reason a easy-to-fix flickering bug. And I'd say 30% off all listed bugs are not even worth mentioning, cause thy are so "obvious" and a matter of few seconds to fix. But now I have lost faith in the devs. The announcement I mentioned in the news section has something to do with me deleting this whole project cause it's a waste of hope and time. And yes. It would be a pleasure to make you a custom signature

The problem ppl have is ability to differ obviously easy-to-fix bugs from those not so obvious.
Me for example, i don't remember i ever had that one particular bug you metion (the 1st one on your list).. i remember something from PTE but not sure. Now, about No.1 bug. I don't have it. Let's say devs don't have it. Graphics editor says everything is ok. There seems to be nothing wrong with code. It's not a triggered type of bug, it's a constant annoying render problem that one can experience only on a specific device with a specific config and specific set of dependencies on that machine. Now they can just find the specs of device that mentioned problems occured on -> buy it -> and find that the problem doesn't occur on a clean device. Meaby someone from devs saw this problem on his computer. They can't probably just take his computer for tests and give him back SOON™. They may try to buy a computer with the same specs and try copying data etc. from one comp to the other and even if it would work it's already lots of work, probably not the best approach and only the beggining. Let's say they have a computer they can reproduce the easy-to-fix flickering bug on. Now they need a hardware specialist with a broad knowledge of how that specific installed on the comp drivers work to try to find what may cause the bug - which will probably not happen or take eternity. Then they need a software specialist with knowledge of assembler for the processor used (and instruction sets it uses) that know how the whole game works and could debug the game step by step to find the problem. Now - it may happen that when debugging it step by step the problem doesn't occur. What is more, nowdays processors handel loads of code in mere seconds and tend to be multi-threaded which doesn't help. Even if he were to find anything, he would have then to feed that data to hardware specialist. Then he would need to find what possibly could cause the problem and feed that portion of data to engine programmer who would probably need to know really well how the engine handles it, and how correct DirectX/OpenGL instructions again handle it. At the end it may happen that what cause the problem is not even tangentially related to what the problem seems to come from. High chances are that he could not come up with any decent solution other than rewritting half of the game and let be honest -- they can't even add a new weapon to the game without introducing another 10 new bugs. Probably the most important here is engine programmer.. and guess what - there is an open job offer for senior engine programmer... since.. about a year? ... yeah.. And lets be honest again, EAsy is to lazy an slEAzy to even start thinking how to fix any of those bugs unless they find solution in map editor. All that above may of cours be a product of my vivid imagination and the answers are in the reach of their hands but they are just too lazy scammers to try to fix this while they work on another pay4power or pay2win items "balance". ---------------------------------------------- About the sig - thx. But as i said it's no good unless it's made by devs .

guess you dont play engi. this list would be VERY different ^^
i think my top 10 bugs arent even on your list. maybe the choppy movement and poor barrier crossing mechanics i can agree with. but the at least 4 known serious bugs with the rpg should have been fixed long ago. i mean motion sensors work good, ammo box works good, health box works good. why is engi class specials so bugged and gimped? repair tool useless on levels with no vehicles, rpg so buggy its ridiculous. when you zoom in 50% of the time you zoom right back out, sometimes you get stuck while reloading and cant switch weapons until it does 2 full reloads, sometimes you have to reload it multiple times for no reason, and very often the rpg locks on a tracer thats behind you even if theres a closer one in view. ![]() |
