Fix the frickin recoil, or give us the standard weapons and perm attachments for free. Seriously this has gone far enough.

Dear EA,Paper is okay,Rock is overpowered,Please nerf rock. -Regards, scissors

My list of +3's for my medic; M249+3, M60+3, XM8AR+3 , FN Minimi PARA +3, MG36+3, M240B+3, QJY88+3

sorry, this isn't what I want. I want the weapons that I bought returned. They were not overpowered, a bad player with a good gun is still a bad player. The thing I liked about the guns I bought, was how they felt and functioned. I was playing a lot of battlefield play4free and was getting better, but I didn't get better on the day I bought my guns, but I had a lot more fun.
I have not played this game since december 20th out of principle. And I will continue to not play till a satisfactory compensation is delivered.

I guess the other thread was too ugly for them. 750k views of how they stole from the community. If they are really listening, they'll fix the code and re-release the legacy attachments.

Stating that EA removed content from my account without my permission, after telling me that they wouldn't, is inappropriate.

BS;
“As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback and if you wish to comment on these new changes, please feel free to join in below.”
“Better level of balance in the game.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why didn’t you leave the original posting if you wanted feedback about the recently removed “Legacy” attachments? Balance of the game would and should be how a customer is treated. We test, try, and buy a product (weapons), and you change a lifetime purchase to improve you revenue. I hope you all are fired, if the basic business rules apply with the money loss from the decisions made by The Battlefield Play4Free Team. The” last forever” weapons purchased should be restored before the changes were made. If you can’t, let us have an in game refund option to purchase what I want. It seems to me you really hope this will just go away after time. What good is the increase of damage if the recoil is so bad you can only take one shot with an automatic weapon? Oh that’s right, if you purchase mods you can reduce you recoil on you weapon close to what it was originally. Well if you don’t listen to the majority of your posts, players and customers I would just like to say; Thanks for the death of Battlefield Play4Free. I still what a refund. Happy job hunting.

As you all know, we recently removed “Legacy” attachments from Battlefield Play4Free as a way to introduce a better level of balance in the game. We appreciate all the feedback that you’ve been giving our team since this change and we assure you, this was a tough decision and not an easy one to make. That being said, we believe that it will deliver the most fun and enjoyable gaming experience to all players and as such these changes will remain.

In the spirit of continually improving Battlefield Play4Free, we are listening to your feedback and responding. Over the next few weeks, we will be implementing several community requested changes to the “+3” weapons:
  • Damage will be increased across all ranges of +3 weapons
(Currently +3 weapons do 2 additional base (body) damage over all ranges compared to their non +3 counterpart. This will be increased to 3 addition points of damage)
  • Base ammo count will be increased across all +3 weapons
(This will vary depending on the weapon and the weapon type)

In addition, we will be making some changes to currently imbalanced boosters (for example, the Mortar Strike and RPG Boosters).

If you have additional questions about the “Legacy” attachments, please refer to this Q&A. As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback and if you wish to comment on these new changes, please feel free to join in below.

Best regards,
The Battlefield Play4Free Team

What a joke Vita, i purchased a m95 because i only play a few hours a week and do not want to grind credits evry day. Do you guys not test the weapons you nerf across the board.

I cant hit anything with my sniper due to "camera shake" and bullet drop, you offer a token gesture of +3 damage and +3 ammo. What you should be doing is apologising to the whole community for f.ukcking there guns up just before christmas.

This whole attachment idea along with the boosters is the worst idea in the history of ftp gaming. The devs or whoever is in charge have created a us vs them mentality which can only be detremental, people, myself included feel ripped off and not a bloody apology at all. Nearly evryone who purchased a weapon from your company complained in the previous thread.

And what do you do give us +1 damage + 3 ammo, so i need to rent a barrel and stock so my m95 can hit anyone. Whoever is pulling the strings your business model sucks, if you think people are going to be paying £10.00 a week to rent theses stupid attachments your crazy.

We all know sleazys not going to change and work to make the game better for the players, this is all about maximising your profits ang getting us to pay weekly.

Well you can stck your +1 damage up your ar.se

This very slight change really amounts to nothing in the full scope of what was taken from us who bought weapons with BFs with the expectation (per their own wording) that they would be both permanent and remain unchanged. Adding just one additional point of damage and very slightly increasing magazine capacity is a slap in the face when considering the uproar the December change caused. If anything, this "good faith" alteration is being done to make it appear as though they are truly listening to us loyal players in an attempt to quell any media attention that has been or will be drawn to their poor practices.

I'm not pleased with this nor do I expect others to be pleased with it, either. These miniscule changes are not enough and simply do NOT equate to what was lost in the legacy wipe.

VitalBullet, I understand that you guys are trying to appease us and keep the business model functioning at the same time; unfortunately, we, the gaming community, still feel betrayed. A business is about making money, but to continue making it you need to ensure that the consumers of your product remain happy in order to spread a positive word about you and your product. Negative press travels far faster and is further reaching than positive press. That said, it would seem that your team (or those above you) aren't the least bit concerned about what negative pub you have received during this fiasco... or will continue to receive until a more amicable solution is provided.

Why not take an official poll to get a true sense of what we feel would be a justifiable fix or what might pass off as proper compensation for those of us who have spent real money to keep the game afloat?

THIS is the pulse of the community, Vital. THIS is what we want and feel is fair. Until you guys come that realization, nothing will change for the better from our perspective.
