How to pick up Medical pack or Ammo?

Ok I must be blind or something I've looked on the forums search and on the game info the control settings and everything and somehow can not find out how to pick up a medical pack to heal myself or ammo to reload. I tried standing on it and even pressed a bunch of buttons on my keyboard just to see if I could hit one. I didn't do every single button but yeah just wondering if I could get some help on to how I pick these items up since standing on it didn't seem to work for me.

You cant pick them up, you just need to stand near to it and you will auto heal or refill your ammo.
