Game don't start

When I click on Play Now, than Battlefield starts up, and than bang, it's gone.
Nothing come!

How "far" does it get?

1. Click "Play Now" on the website
2. The updater starts with 2 messages (one at a time)
   a) "Retrieving version information ..."
   b) "Checking installation ..."
3. The updater closes, and shortly afterwards, the game client starts, showing the nice background image from this website, and a spinning "loading wheel" in the lower right corner
4. After a few seconds, the game client finished loading, and you can select your soldier/loadout/etc.
5. Click "Play Now" on the game client
6. It's searching for a server and finally joins one (or if you used the ServerBrowser/Bookmarks, it "immediately" joins)
7. It starts loading the map
8. Finally you can play the game
   

Which of these steps "work", and which don't "happen"?

If step #3 does NOT happen at all, make sure you have these installed:

And to answer your question before you even ask it:
NO, it is not sufficient to only have .NETFX4.0 because it is NO UPDATE FOR .NETFX3.5SP1. These are two separate packages, providing different libraries. You definitely need .NETFX3.5SP1 and only in some cases you need version 4.0 ADDITIONALLY

Install them in the given order, and make sure to change the "download language" to the one your Windows is configured to.

If you get a white/black screen in step #3, attach your DxDiag.txt, following the guide in my signature.

If step #4 never begins (game client is loading infinitely), have a look at the other guide in my signature: "Stuck on Loading screen?"

mine it finishes the first loading screen then the second one shows a white screen for 1 min then BAM its gone. Please help!

If you "uninstalled" the game by deleting the game folder, you need to manually delete the Registry values, in order to install the game again.

1. Press [WINDOWSKEY] + [R], the "Run..." dialog will open
2. Type regedit and press [RETURN] or click on OK
3. Inside the "Registry Editor", navigate to the appropriate "folder", according to your OS's architecture:

hi i have problem in step 3 - black screen all the time

i changed computer and i have that bug;/

Edit: now it`s OK
New computer - new system - no all update
At 2 p.m. my computer was installing win7 sp1 and i think it helped

Your video chip, a VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP does not support PixelShader 3.0 which is a hardware feature that is required by the game engine. So, I'm afraid you wont be able to play with this PC. Or at least need a new graphics card for your machine.
