help,i'm punkbusted

Hi guys,i hope you could help me,i'm driving mad!

Since 3 days every server i join,after 3/4 minutes,i've been kicked with the message "kicked by punkbuster" !

1) i never have had problems with BP4F

2) i dont have any other games installed and i've checked other program or firewall that could fight with punkbuster (and the game works for months! just since 3 days doesnt work)

3) i've uninstall and reinstall the game 2 times

4) i've uninstall and reinstall PB many times,the TEST tell me always that everything is OK

please help me i wanna come back to play

- Go to Start, Configuration, System, Services.
- Rightclick on PnkBstrA, Select properties.
- On the "Login" tab, check 'Allow service to interact with desktop'.
- Do the same thing for PnkBstrB.

yesterday i've played all the day without a punkbuster problem.

today i've the same problem!!!

i've checked the punkbstr services and are already fixed


what i've to do? i'm the only one with this problem??

Do you get kicked for the "HeartBeats issue", again?
Does happen on all servers, or only on some specific? Maybe try bookmarking a few servers near you and check whether it is a "server-specific problem".

yes almost from all server.

i've some bookmarked server where i play everyday,and for first time i've been kicked many times for that reason. always for heartbeats issue.

1) i've checked the services again,are running with the "interact desktop" check

2) i've check "run as administrator" (http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?pag...neric.php) to punkbuster A,following the advice on punkbuster site

3) i've reinstall again punkbuster and botted many times my pc

Ive just tried several times to join a server an i got kicked it told me "You were kicked from the server" why is this happening?

When it only says "Kicked from server", then it can have different causes. The most common being a too high ping. Normally, before being kicked, there should be a server message in the lower left part saying something like: "Admin: notRussian29-1, you are being kicked (Reason: Ping too high)"
Keep an eye on the admin chat and then tell us what the kick-reason is.

If it's due to ping, bookmark a few servers near you and try to join them. A list of servers and their location (if known), can be found here: http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/foru...?tid=42258
Also make sure that all unneded programs are closed. Especially those that "consume bandwidth", like e.g. Skype, ICQ, Steam, GTalk etc.

I keep getting "kicked by punkbuster" from servers near me. I cannot locate the PBCL.log file. The one in the /battlefield play4free/pb folder just says C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\BFP4F\pb\, but in c:\users\justin\ there is no appdata folder, unless it is hidden. I can't find it.

As to the other suggestion by Irlandese I don't have "configuration" in my start menu. Did you mean control panel?

You're right. By default the AppData folder is hidden. The easiest way to navigate to the punkbuster folder is by copy&pasting the path to the address bar in Explorer. Copy the file to an "easier to reach folder", like e.g. your Desktop, to be able to attach it.

Nope. The "configuration" or "management" start menu item is in most cases hidden. To get to the "service configuration", just press [WINDOWSKEY] + [R] and type:
