first of all, how does spotting work? i hear people talking about it and wonder what it means. do you actually have to have the person on your map to spot him? or does it go by what you saw in the last few seconds or something. can you map it to a specific key?
next i also want to know about the recon's motion sensing device. does it actually work as of right now? if yes, how does it display motion, does it show it on the map, or does it kind of work like 6 sense in bfh. if it shows motion on the map, what signals display on the map when motion is in the vicinity.

For now, you have to aim at an enemy and spot.

Spotting is done by holding Q and clicking the Spot button while you're aiming at an enemy soldier or vehicle. That'll make the enemy show up on the minimap for everyone on your team for a few seconds. The motion sensor has a very similar effect. When an enemy is within its range, they'll show up on the minimap. But the range is extremely tiny, at least until you upgrade it to level 3.
