How to setup my own (private) server?

Hello everyone! I very like this game and I want to setup my own game server running on my own computer. How can I do this? Are there some special applications or everything is built-in game?

Server files are only available to the game server service providers (Multiplay etc)

So you cannot host a server from your own computer

You have to rent a Server unless you have the Equipment and Contracts with EAsy to set up a Server

Is it possible to become a game server service providers? What do I need?

I don't know exactly how this works, but afaik EA selects the companies that can be a server provider.

To be a game server provider you need to have a company and a server park that runs all the games that is provided. You need to have staff that can handle support, activate servers, install software, hardware techinichians etc

In short they will not give it to individuals

btw there will be a Tutorial later™ on, it will be like Private Server though you can´t play with friends nor with anyone else.

No server files will be released except to authorized companies providing hosting for rental servers. User will NOT have access to the server files.

I believe the tutorial Solid is taking about is how to properly and effectively manage and administer a Rental Server.

I think Solid meant something like the tutorial in BFH, where you enter a map by yourself and are taught the basics of the game. This would be great for new players and for those looking to improve their flying skills without upsetting the jet whores.

That is all weird because more servers = more people buying battlefunds = more money for EA, but who cares.

As for me - two european oman only servers G-BF #4 and #5 are always full 23/7 (1 hour they are empty) and i spend a lot of time just waiting in queue every day.

We constantly ensure that we are more servers available for Battlefield Play4Free than there is demand, to allow players to access servers without having to constantly wait in queues should they wish to.

Have you tried using the server browser to find more 24/7 Oman servers? I think the OG chaps may have one or two.

Yes, I've tried this many times. There are plenty Oman / DValley servers but i don't want DValley at all.

you cant and never will be able to run private servers for this game and you can only rent servers through select server providers.
