How radio binds are working

Correct me if I'm wrong please.

For those of you who thinks spamming radio bind helps: for example when you ask for a medic.(Works for assault (ammo boxes) and Engineers (repair))

First call - A little icon appears above your head for at least 5 seconds. If the medic is too far, he cannot see the icon.

Second call - The little icon appears but only for 1-2 seconds, and again, if the medic is too far, he cannot see it.

3rd call and more - No icons!

So spamming the radio isn't the right choice. You better ask for a medic and if you are safe enough, tell in Team chat (t) as default key) where are you + I need a medic.

If you get no medic, It's probably because he got killed while he tried to come to you. Trying to know where the medic should come from helps. So you can cover him while he runs to you. Or if you don't get any heals, it's probably because the medic is a cheap solo-er.


Spot spot spot.

When you use spot radio bind on a vehicle, aircraft or simply a soldier (Trooper or sniper) a little icon flash in the mini-map, so it's very useful! Spot the most enemies you see and if a sniper annoys you very much, again in Team-chat (t) default key; Ask for a team-mate to kill him with the location.

Again please tell me if it's wrong, I am not 100% sure.

The post was about requesting medic/ammo/repairs, not spotting enemies..

OP: Sound advice BUT, those spamming those messages probably doesn't read the forums.

I got to say the few times i do request medical, or ammo, RARELY do i get it, even with them standing next to me. But i do know i try to drop them if i am playing those classes near to team mates, flags, high travel areas, etc if requested or not.

However i wish they would fix the stupid sound glitches "I Need A Medic" sound spam i get is annoying as all hell, no one is requesting it nor am i, but it is coming from my guy randomly, over and over again, my guy screams that at least 100-200 times a round on his own. never spams the chat box, but keeps yelling it.

I want to see a new system in game where it mutes command spammers for 10 seconds, then 30, progressively to the whole round for spamming the same command.

I was getting SO annoyed the other day from hearing this guy spam "i need ammo" for like 10 minutes straight.

Yes, please! I tried editing the punishment-time on a server but it didn't seem to work. A progressively increasing punishment would be lovely!
