I can't give away all the secrets but my tip is don't be a jerk and ramble on and on with gamer terms like wtf? noob! What I died?? Hacker!! Try moderation! Even worse is the type the fool that makes fun of everyone for things like grammar and spelling in a game chat i mean really (wtf, noob hackers?!) and makes enemies with his own team. So be a team player not a troll. It ruins the game.
Don't stand back too much at the beginning of a game if you are in a tank or apc or have 6 guys waiting on the stairs. Rush rush rush and get the flags early on and defend a bit. Take a lesson from the worst teams and notice how they stand back to defend one flag. If your team looks like it is doing this don't be a fool and start whining once u get to #1 how you are the best player and "your" team is so awful and they need to help with getting the flags. It could be they are pushed back into a base and need help. This whining is very useless and very annoying. I have seen teams win 3 games straight and one bad game and some newcomer starts bantering on.
If your an eng set up mines early on at the crucial spots on the way to a flag. If you see a vehicle sneak behind it or really close to it and drop a mine, sure you might get blown up to if your too close but your team will maintain a flag.
If you are a sniper set up claymores at tight entry ways.
If you are a assault, get a lot of gernades
If you are a medic, get the defib skill and double med pack to help your team. But try to get rid of the threat before bringing them back.
If you are a pilot, take out the aa guns or if you are a tankhead, take out the enemy snipers on the high points or crane
Dead mans trigger is a very useful skill as well as the fast run.
Tag vehicles often.
Missles on planes stink, try to get good with the mg.
Have fun, its a free game, so don't be a smug troll who wants to bring everyone down, try to make friends, ha!
