Everytime i go to the site and click "play now" the update checker thing will load perfectly fine but then when it is supposed to go to the menu a black screen will pop up with no music and will sit there for a second and then just go away. I updated my drivers and everything but it just will not work. any ideas?

According to that list: http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/en/foru...?tid=50259
your video chip does NOT support PixelShader 2.0 which is required by the game engine.
You will need to buy a new video card (or PC) to be able to play.

Same issue here as well . When I push "Play now" the updater launches and checks the files correctly then the game launches and stays on the black screen with no music for 5-10 seconds . The game then proceeds to stop working and I get the windows error message "Bfp4f.exe has stopped working" . Checking the log in Event Viewer yields :

Faulting application name: BFP4f.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e0b3a35
Faulting module name: MSVCR90.dll, version: 9.0.30729.6161, time stamp: 0x4dace5b9

MSVCR90.dll seems to be the problem although i haven't had any luck repairing/orverwriting it .
I have reinstalled/repaired my 3.5/4.0 .net framework and also Microsoft c++ visual runtime to no avail .
Also tried reinstalling the BFP4F plug-in / entire game multiple times with 3 different browsers .

The game used to run fine with only the same minor issues that were experienced by all .

Well, the only thing I can see, is that your video driver is outdated. You can find the latest driver here: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/P...n7-64.aspx

Which Visual C++ Runtime did you install?
It looks like it might have been caused by an outdated version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/de...02B2AF5FC2

Your video driver is quite outdated. Please download and install the latest driver: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/wi...n7-32.aspx

Also, please make sure you have these two installed and updated:
HomeSen (self-quoting is 1337 xD) Wrote:Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/de...9C36F85647
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/de...02B2AF5FC2

Download and install both, since both are needed for the game to work properly. And YES, you need BOTH since 2008 is NO update for 2005. Each of the packages provides different libraries Wink

Make sure to change the "download language" to the one your Windows is configured to. Also, please rename the files. Some guy/gal from Microsoft thought it is funny to give two completely different files the same name Dodgy

Also, please run WindowsUpdate after installing these two, to make sure that you have the latest updates Wink

Hi,
I have donload the ati treiber but at the installation the program say that the installation fail.
In the protocol file is list that the monitor driver couldn't install, the other driver could be installed.
After a new download and new installation-process was the same problem.

Somehow your attachments magically disappeared Dodgy
So I'm not totally sure, if you are the guy with the Dell laptop. If so, try downloading the video driver from the Dell website. A few years ago, many vendors (especially HP, Acer and Dell) modified the device ID of the built-in hardware. And thus it was "almost impossible" to install the "normal drivers", but people had to download the drivers offered by their vendor.

Could you try finding a newer driver on your vendor's website and install it, please?
What was the error message you got when trying to install the driver? Was it something like "No supported hardware found"?

Thank you for your help.
When I search at dell for treiber, I find one but this treiber wasn't the right.
At least I have uninstall catalyst control center and install the treiber from ati. Now is the game running.

Your DxDiag looks fine. But I found a few "suspicious" entries in your HiJackThis.log:
HiJackThis.log by justicefuzz Wrote:O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [avO3Mp] \FXttZ.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [sJ4Lqo4xWe] \FXttZ.exe
Those look like some kind of malware. You might want to run a complete virusscan and/or maybe also run "MalwareBytes Anti-Malware" to clean your system.

You have set your DNS settings to fixed addresses. Could you try setting them to dynamic: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo...P-settings
You only have to change the "IPv4" settings Wink

Additionally, make sure you have these two installed and updated:
