My game will not load.

Everytime i go to the site and click "play now" the update checker thing will load perfectly fine but then when it is supposed to go to the menu a black screen will pop up with no music and will sit there for a second and then just go away. I updated my drivers and everything but it just will not work. any ideas?

your video chip does NOT support PixelShader 2.0 which is required by the game engine.
You will need to buy a new video card (or PC) to be able to play.

Same issue here as well . When I push "Play now" the updater launches and checks the files correctly then the game launches and stays on the black screen with no music for 5-10 seconds . The game then proceeds to stop working and I get the windows error message "Bfp4f.exe has stopped working" . Checking the log in Event Viewer yields :

The game used to run fine with only the same minor issues that were experienced by all .

Which Visual C++ Runtime did you install?
It looks like it might have been caused by an outdated version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/de...02B2AF5FC2

at-least yours tells you what's wrong, mine shows a white screen, and plays what i assume to be the background music(i'm new), but that's all that shows up...nothing else, and this is a new labtop

My screen just stays in the launch pad ..and it stays black, I have a 1 year old pc, and it's still updated.. so why am having problems launching this game?

I have the same problem. The update screen runs perfeclty, but then come in the left corner of my monitor for 3 seconds a black screen and after the 3 seconds the black screen closes themself.

Hi,
I have donload the ati treiber but at the installation the program say that the installation fail.
In the protocol file is list that the monitor driver couldn't install, the other driver could be installed.
After a new download and new installation-process was the same problem.

So I'm not totally sure, if you are the guy with the Dell laptop. If so, try downloading the video driver from the Dell website. A few years ago, many vendors (especially HP, Acer and Dell) modified the device ID of the built-in hardware. And thus it was "almost impossible" to install the "normal drivers", but people had to download the drivers offered by their vendor.

Could you try finding a newer driver on your vendor's website and install it, please?
What was the error message you got when trying to install the driver? Was it something like "No supported hardware found"?

When I search at dell for treiber, I find one but this treiber wasn't the right.
At least I have uninstall catalyst control center and install the treiber from ati. Now is the game running.

about DNS correction i have settings already on dynamic
and is it i am playing whit wireless network or something else. oh please explain morer how to figure out this annoyoing problem
