I guess it will be playable in the lowest settings but the performance will be very poor. Try It its for free!

Will needed to play on Super-low or Low settings. 3GB of RAM and a 512MB video card, plus a Pentiun 4 3.0GHz and you will be able to play on Mediun without trouble.

Mine is:
Intel Pentiun 4 3.0GHz
512Mb ATi Radeon X800 Pro
3GB of RAM ddr2
DirectX 9.0c

i can play on Mediun on this old Dell Optiplex

A BF2 clanmate used a 5200FX for a long time. It wasn't until he upgraded did he realize that BF2 actually had roads and runways and not just flat paths.

1gb is simply not enough to play online games well.

And such an old machine probably isn't worth the money to upgrade.

All I can say is - try it! It either will or won't run.
