You're actually wrong, using the pbsvuser.cfg is only necessary for BFheroes and BFP4F (and also only sometimes).

Mainly the pbsv.cfg is used to configure PB and it's settings, including streaming.

oh i added a list of streaming servers, cause most forget to add bookmark link to their server settings at ggc site ... if server browser comes there is no more need for this list ... but many guys ask ... so

All you have to do is make a new text document on your PC called pbsvuser.txt and add those lines into it then save it. Now exit it and rename the file by right clicking it and change the last part from .txt to .cfg

So the file will now be called pbsvuser.cfg and it will have the text inside it.

Now all you need to to is upload the file to multiplay and your done

profiles > edit > config > "browse button" > add > save
on save, a server restart will be required

(once uploaded and saved, you can tweak it in clanforge to add your PBSS settings and "badname" list to it)


You can also use this way to add the pbucon.use file to multiplay

  pbsvuser.txt (Size: 192 bytes / Downloads: 30)
  pbucon.txt (Size: 25 bytes / Downloads: 49)

what do you mean with "pb screenshot clients" ?
you need to enable the screenshot feature at the config (tutorial @ ggc boad) and you gsp needs to provide access.

think I will add this to servers also as of yesterday started streaming PBbans. And if I am reading this right then I can stream both with no problem. (Is this Right?) Going to try it on the server doing PBbans and hope I dont mess thing up. (if there is a way I am sure I will find it) But as of right now [L3] (L3git Tactics server is streaming PBbans and will soon be streaming this also. Thanks for the info

I agree, I have never encountered any problems with multi AC streaming.

My BF2 server streams to GGC, Punksbusted and PBBans.

My BFP4F server streams to GGC and PBBans.

No problems what so ever.

If you can configure it or get your GSP to do it, you have the inbuilt “PunkBuster Server WebTool for BFP4F” + you can send PB commands. you just enable it in your “pbsv.cfg” file.
