Hi Lockendown, im from Rio de Janeiro and dont got too much lag in the game, its unnecessary for connections above 4MB. (IMO).... but a nice tip for wireless internet.....

you know, the wireless loose too much packets of data, id prefer the cable....

and i don't trust in the BaixaKi, a lot of useless progams...

*No needed a PT version*

He's offering a solution to improve the internet connections for South Americans. It benefits all of us so shut up and stop trying to troll.

Well there is half your problem using wireless internet drops you speed by at least half of what a direct Cat5 LAN connection would provided. However I would also like to suggest this Lifehacker article for those on wireless internet.

Also I found this on how-to Geek which I find helpful when trying to understanding data latency and gaming.
http://www.howtogeek.com/58373/ask-how-t...omponents/

Quote:there’s a big difference between total bandwidth (the amount of data you can download at a time), and latency (how fast each back and forth happens). Satellite internet is notorious for very long latency, but obviously can transfer a lot of data (like all your TV channels).

Imagine it like this: if you lived in a big city, you can hire a bike-messenger courier (low latency) to very quickly deliver letters and small packages from one place to another. Alternatively, you could hire a big truck (high bandwidth) to carry larger loads—but it would take a lot longer to load up the truck and make your way through traffic. That’s the difference between latency and total bandwidth.

Since online gaming requires a lot of quick back and forth, but not necessarily a lot of data, it’s best to have low-latency connections in order to keep the responses between the game server and your computer snappy.

Server gets laggier everyday. Day by day there's a problem with my connection, I'm kicked because I'm having too high ping. This never happened during alpha & CB. 2 months ago I've noticed that I started to be ahead of nades thrown by me ! What the hell ?

When I will be directed to EUROPEAN SERVERS instead of BRAZILIAN, NA, and those spread around whole world ? I want to play with europeans, and be able to communicate with them. Not on NA, BR, CN, and god knows which servers ?!

when WHEN WHEN ?!

as a sidenote:
10/2mbit cable con. through ethernet calbe on 1gbit eth intel interface.
