Right now, I enjoy getting up close and personal with my oponents instead of staying back and picking them off. I use a shotgun, so I was wondering what was better, claymores or DMT?

I hop on flags constantly, so DMT does save a flag from time to time. I don't like it too much though, as most people (myself included) find it a tad frustrating. I've never used claymore though, but I like the concept of using them to block alleys and chokepoints. What are your thoughts on my dilema?

Also, if any of you wish to share your rushing recon class builds, please do. Smile

EDIT: If any mod wants to (although I know they already have the power) they can move this to the players helping players section. I don't know where it should go.

870 Combat Shotgun/m9 pistol (Since its free lol)

4/4 Sensor balls

4/4 frags

4/4 DMT

And then i have the physical training ones like running speed ETc

Claymores are over nerfed since the CB, you barely kill someone with one and just may kill someone with two. Only good for blokking a ladder Dodgy

I chose DMT over claymores mainly because i just get more kills with it. Plus you can get multi kills with it and kill like 5 people with one DMT. (Especially on Sharqi!)

Also claymores range is very short compared to upgraded DMT and claymores don't damage tanks...

Nah, I think it fits in here Wink

I prefer Claymores over DMT. But that's just because I don't want to spend so many points in nades+DMT Big Grin Might change that later, but currently my recon is just level 11 Wink

Yeah, just ran into 2 claymores(right in my face) and got out with 18 hp. Pretty useless since i was playing a medic.

PS: That's not the first time, once i even had 50+ hp after 2 claymores

I know right?!?!? They take so freaking long to level up!

I decided to make mine into the ultimate vehicle dude with maxed out armor and RMB ability cooldowns. At least until i get him to level 20.

Since you get so many points from blowing up vehicles compared to sniping people. Smile

cm = Claymore need to be used correctly.
If u set a claymore in the open then it will do less damage, but if you set it so that its blast radius is confined like in a hallway or corridor, set CM so it points across the corridor and at a wall, then your more likely to get a kill with one cm. I do it all the time. Sure I dont get a kill with just one all the time, but then I am usually close by. I hear the cm go off, if I dont get the kill indicator, I go and finish them off myself. I'm not one to just drop Cm's and run away. I use them as my back up when I get into position. They're there to protect my back and flank and to catch some unsuspecting nub running around in the wrong place. My fav is DMT. I love after getting killed at flag and see that my DMT took out 2 or 3 guys hovering over my corpse trying to cap the flag.Tongue
