Anyone else think that some maps from Battlefield Modern Combat would be great for this game? They were for 24 players, but they feel like they were designed for 32 (my theory is technical limitation of the PS2 forced them to drop to 24 but they planned for 32). But anyways, the maps were great and solidly designed. Some of the more popular ones I posted pics of the maps below (the names of them are over them)to see what they are like. I am not saying all of these should be in this game but maybe one or two that they think would fit good. Anyone else agree that some of these maps could fit perfectly into this game?
-also I am working on finding videos of the maps. I have found some, but some maps are hard to find videos of so I will add them when I find them.

-Alright now I beleive (correct me if I am wrong) that is a complete list of all the maps from the main game (not DLC). Since there seems to be a fair amount of interest in some of these maps I thought maybe people could post exactly which one(s) could be good for this game.

Below is a link to a poll by Jimmytheballer. Check it out and vote for your favorite MC map.

Although this has been mentioned a lot before. Nice to see it in the new section.

Backstab is such an awesome map. And would be great to see it back in BFP4F.

Black Gold reminds me of a map from Desert Combat. That was a fun map, as it was all helo's and ground pounding.

The noblest fate a man can endure is to put his own mortal body between his loved home and the war's desolation.

Yea that was an awesome DC map. and I loved black gold as well. They both had a lot of air combat then on the rig there was a lot of close quarters firefights so it was an awesome balance.

I know there were some night maps in Modern Combat, I forget which ones tho. In theory they can make a night version of any map.

why not a night version of kubra dam (BF2) and add some more maps of BF2 like Wake island 07??? the game will be more fun! =D

G7R1 = Medic / G7R2 = Assault / G7R3 = Recon / G7R4 = Engineer

I really liked the map setups from modern combat, they really played will with just 24 players–– they would play even better with 32.

If I had to choose just 3 I would choose:
Backstab- in my opinion of of the greatest maps of any game ever. It was such a fun map with great gameplay. And it would fit perfectly in with the design of this game.
Bridge Too Far- I loved the urban feel of this map. It was a great map.
The Nest- Mountainous region with little town and villages nestled into the cliffs, lots of fun for both vehicles combat and infantry combat. And this map was unique in that it had drawbridges that could be raised or lowered by a button in the control tower in the village by the bridge. Not sure if that feature would be possible in th engine for this game tho. But even so it was an awesome map.

Wow boys, I never expected this - I was once a hugely avid player of MC and never thought something like this would come up. Brings back so many amazing memories. Almost every map in MC would fit perfectly in P4F. Truly amazing map design MC had.

Thanks for posting this - brings back great memories.
