PS: try out BF2142 if you're bored off all the modern and old stuff... that game had epic future battles...

I was wondering the same thing - though it's never worked on my account. I've played 1942, Vietnam, 2, Heroes, and BC2 (and this) but my level is 0. All played on the same account...

I honestly don't care if BF doesn't beat Call of Duty because I'm not making the money, I just want it to be a good game, like Bf1942 and BF2. I even think DICE would rather have fewer of their games sold however, with significantly less pirated copies. Instead of trying to match the call of duty series in sales. Two completely different consumer markets, and game-play styles.
Battlefield, slower more strategic, CoD faster paced reflex tester. Both still fun.

I think it's a load of not so good that you have to do a paid pre-order online to get access to offers. Why is it not possible to do a pre-paid deal in a shop and get a code that way? When I get the game, I want a disc to go with it and not to have to download it each time I reinstall my computer...

1st: if u preorder before its release, u receive the back to karkand expansion pack (4 BF2 maps redesigned for BF3 + the vehicles of them)

Well obviously it's a better deal for you to buy it in the EA store but I have many problems with download only games and I prefer retail versions in the local stores. But still, I think they don't care about long-runner Battlefield fans they just promote the store again and again while they say this reward is for big Battlefield fans. If it would be true, this reward would be in the Veteran's project or in the Gun Club. Both were good promises but both are abandoned after being launched. Come on EA, show how you respect Battlefield fans and give these to players who really ARE fans, and not just people buying the game in your store.
