I thnik that this year battlefield will beat Call of duty Smile

I've been playing bf franchise since the first one came out... well over a decade ago... and never has call of duty even come close to it... the thing is... call of duty is hyped like halo... and hence everyone takes its name... but bf... well... this baby is where my heart is Smile
PS: try out BF2142 if you're bored off all the modern and old stuff... that game had epic future battles...

I was wondering the same thing - though it's never worked on my account. I've played 1942, Vietnam, 2, Heroes, and BC2 (and this) but my level is 0. All played on the same account...

I'm very keen to hear an official response to the question regarding retail pre-orders...

I honestly don't care if BF doesn't beat Call of Duty because I'm not making the money, I just want it to be a good game, like Bf1942 and BF2. I even think DICE would rather have fewer of their games sold however, with significantly less pirated copies. Instead of trying to match the call of duty series in sales. Two completely different consumer markets, and game-play styles.
Battlefield, slower more strategic, CoD faster paced reflex tester. Both still fun.

On topic?
Any update on when the rewards go out to those who preordered BF3 earlier this year.

I think it's a load of awesome that you have to do a paid pre-order online to get access to offers. Why is it not possible to do a pre-paid deal in a shop and get a code that way? When I get the game, I want a disc to go with it and not to have to download it each time I reinstall my computer...

Yeah, when will the "Very Near Future" come? It seems to take forever.

Come on people, giving exclusive rewards for everyone who uses the EA store and not even thinking of others who are UNABLE to buy it there is a shame. Its price in the EA stroe is the double of the price in shops in my country (Hungary, yes) and I never buy digital copies of games, only retail versons. I feel being excluded from the goodies while I bought every single Battlefield game, all of them are on my desk even including the Bad Company 2 Vietnam's box. I bought many items for my soldiers in Battlefield Heroes and even I bought weapons for Play4Free, but I won't get these just because I'm a collector of game disks.

Suggestion: What about the Veteran Program? It seems to be very abandoned. I have Veteran level 4 with my games. What if you could get these items for registering Battlefield 3 through the Veteran project website? It would be a lot more of giving reward to Battlefield fans rather than again promoting the EA store and trying to get us away from retailers as fast as possible.
Man, i am from Russia, & in my store it will cost 1200 RUB when at EA store it costs 600 RUB(1$=28 RUB)

Well obviously it's a better deal for you to buy it in the EA store but I have many problems with download only games and I prefer retail versions in the local stores. But still, I think they don't care about long-runner Battlefield fans they just promote the store again and again while they say this reward is for big Battlefield fans. If it would be true, this reward would be in the Veteran's project or in the Gun Club. Both were good promises but both are abandoned after being launched. Come on EA, show how you respect Battlefield fans and give these to players who really ARE fans, and not just people buying the game in your store.
