Invalid game data. disconnect from server

Yeah, I am the 9,000th player that is having this problem. I do believe I will play some Battlefield Bad Company: 2, or Vietnam and then laugh at this play4free Horse Hockey. It 'aint worth it. Play battlefield heroes with your sister, or GTFO!!!!

Im guessing it's a issue with custom loadouts , I have the covert ops shades and the Tric Desert Battle Uniform , earlier I was playing fine but my custom was not loaded , just defaults plus my veterans gun AEK971 , I just bought the custom clothes , so I think this is the cause of it.

I will try removing the shades , and see if it changes.


I was correct, it's a loadout issue with my covert ops shades being detected as a invalid data file

That isn't the cause. This is happening on my soldiers without any gear from the shop...

It seems to be purely one server. You can keep trying and trying and eventually you will get into either A) another map or B) Actually load a server running Oman.

What it seems is there is a server out there, with something wrong with it, that is currently just sitting on oman forever(because no one can get in and finish it , or its bugged) and people keep connecting to this server.

That makes more sense and probably only effecting people in one geographical area, because the game tries to find servers close to you.

EA please fix your own servers for your own sake. Your giving yourself a very bad reputation by not answering the people who support your game by buying battlefunds.
You have gotten five pages worth of complaints and no response in more than 4 Weekdays?

So was fine this morning for me, then this happened, of course directly after i bought increased xp it started, which i have not been able to use a minute of.

Ok it's a server stuck on OMAN , with a non updated server config. which then detects clients with newest build as invalid.

I'm pretty sure he is right.

I kept joining (around 20-30 times) and eventually got into Sharqi. Just keep pressing Play Now! and eventually your client will hook another server that is in proper rotation with the updated server configuration.

EA, your service has sucked! You guys always say the problem is on our end and NEVER admit your servers are the problem! I complained to you guys and Sony about the servers on BF:BC2 and have told me to check my router/modem/ISP when ALL my other friends also had lag and problems connecting to games all throughout the day for a few weeks. GET YOUR $HIT TOGETHER!!! Or my friends and I will switch to Call of Duty!

Day #5 of this happening and STILL NO DEVELOPER RESPONSE!!!!

If this doesn't get replied to pretty soon I'll do my best to take as many players away from EA as I can. This is ridiculous, it feels like I'm on some half-assed privately ran server, when you're a big company, EA, you can't let players have problems like this for days on end with no response. It's how you lose customers, and how you gain a bad reputation.
