Download pbsetup and run it to update PB. Worked for me.

Below is how I was able to resolve this problem with my company provided laptop that I take home every workday.
Since about January of 2012, I have not been able to get past the “Timed Out Matchmaking Error 2” and thus have not been able to play battlefield play4free. I tried almost everything the internet tried to offer to fix it but I never was able fix the problem until last week. With earlier attempts, I thought I had done everything correctly to allow Battlefield and punkbuster through my McAfee software, but apparently I was not doing it right. But once I followed the instructions provided by the company I work for as to how to disable the McAfee firewall, I have been back in the Battlefield.
Below is how I am able to resolve the “Timed Out Matchmaking Error 2”
1. Open up McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention (for me, I right click on the “M” McAfee icon on the bottom right icon bar on my screen)
2. select “Manage Features”
3. select “McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention”
4. select “Confgure”.
5. A McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention panel opens up where I then select “Task”.
6. Select “Unlock User Interface”
7. Enter the password. My company provided me with this password.
8. Select “Firewall Policy” tab.
9. Click off the “Enable Firewall” checkbox.
10. Leave the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention window open for the entire time you are gaming. When done gaming, you can re-enable the firewall by checking the “Enable Firewall” checkbox before closing the panel. In my case, once I close the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention window, it will be 20 minutes or less and my firewall will be re-enabled automatically for that is how my company has set up their computers. On a 20 minute cycle, my computer re-enables my firewall unless I have the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention window still open.

Since the game only crashes when loading a specific map, I'd recommend a complete reinstall of the game. Chances are that some file(s) got corrupted
Uninstall the game as described by the 3rd link in my signature, afterwards install it again by clicking the "Play Now" button on this website.

Close the game and clear the game's shader cache (read: delete all folders inside it) located at:

Code:

MyDocuments\Battlefield Play4Free\mods\main\cache

Afterwards, the game will re-create it automatically with "fresh" information.
