Because everyone is asking, how he can upload pictures here a short tut:

keep in mind: only post in this forum, or you break the NDA

1st way, picture is directly shown in your post:

1. go to Imageshack

2. Click on "Browse" and select the picture you want to upload. Screenshots from BFP4F are in in "My Documents/Battlefield Play4Free/Screenshots". You can also select the size of the uploaded picture.

3. Wait until it is uploaded

4. Click on the picture preview

5. Rightklick on it and select "copie link to grafik" (don't know if thats right, im from germany Wink)

6. Go to the forum

7. Klick on "insert image"--------------------V you find it above the text area
[Image: toolbar.gif]

8. Insert the link you copied in 5.

9. Klick "Ok"

10. Post it Wink

to make shure, no third person can find it, register or log in:

(picture taken from Andrakann, scroll down to find it)

2nd way, picture is an attachment in your post, which can be downloaded:
can not be seen by a third person, which has no acces to the closed beta

3rd way, combination of 1. and 2. way: by Ghieri

1. Do like in the 2. way

2. Once it's attached, post your reply and right-click the link of your attachment at the bottom of your post, select properties and then copy the direct URL of your attachment.

3. Do 6-10 like in the 1. way.

Your image is then shown in your post and also added as an attachment

And that's it!

Your "tutorial" makes anyone following it break the NDA they signed when they joined the Closed Beta. Unless Imageshack has some way of keeping pictures private and unavailable for searching/finding/indexing.

1/2. so please if you could post the images before you lower the resolution!
that occupy much space and it becomes difficult to navigate in the topik.
or just post the link .....

when you make a screenshot, in the screenshot folder are two versions, first in low resolution, I think that is perfect for posted !
as in the example above

It was not made for another website, it was mainly for the "Battlefield Moments", because there some people asked, how to post an image. And there you also asked us to post screenshots...

All you have to do is take a screenshot of the event in action, or the direct aftermath, attach it to a post, and add a either a caption in the post, or explain what happened Smile. We will then publish any awesome/entertaining Battlefield Moments we come across to the homepage!

He clearly stated "Attach to post", not "upload to a third party site and post link".

does posting pictures here make them available for a third party?

i dont think so, because the link to the picture remains inside this forum. Mod please explain the NDA to us!

Well, actually it doesn't make pictures available to a third party by posting them here.
BUT: You make them available to the WHOLE WORLD (just a broader term for "third party") by uploading them to imageshack!!!

That's why Silvanoshi said: "attach it to your post". By that, only people with valid credentials for the BFP4F forums can access them. After you submitted your post with the images attached, you can copy the link to the attached images and paste them into [img] tags by editing your post.

So let me explain:
1. take a picture and put it in a message in ur e-mail //or in the space provided for e-mail
1.1. save the message in draft / bozze (the most confidential) //or send yourself a message with your img
2. to load up there in the topic / forum like Butterkekskrumel method
2.1. Good luck

-e-mail-yaho.o already offers a personal-space specially designed for img
-G-mail offers a subdomain 1g (..... confidential / private .....)

Ok, everyone, here's a good way to make your screenshots visible in your posts without uploading them to any other site.

1) Attach the screenshot you want in the "Attachments" section, which is available when you click on "New Reply".

2) Once it's attached, select "Preview Post" and right-click the link of your attachment at the bottom of your post, select "Copy direct access" (or direct link, or something like that).

3) Finally, edit your post and paste the link inside image code, like this: [IMG] your link here [/IMG]

And that's it, this is exactly what I did in this post, and here's the screenshot:

[Image: attachment.php?attachhash=1cf11411423a00...9e3e69babe]

You don't have to worry about resolution, resizing or anything like that, the forum automatically resizes your screenshot, and anyone can click the link at the bottom of your post to download the full size.
